Since I'm such a kindhearted bastard, I decided to create this thread to help those of us looking for a relationship. I know for a fact that there are a few, besides myself, whom are in a real relation with a real person.

Sure, my relation is far from perfect (or healthy for that matter ), but during it I have picked up a few things that could help others trapped committed to a relationship, or those who wish to be.

Feel very free to contribute your own words of wisdom, or experiences.

Don't judge them by your standards, and don't allow them to judge them by their standards. A true relationship (basically one not based off unexpected kids or lots of sex) is about compromise and finding the balance between what you like and what she likes that can bring joy to you both.

From personal experience I would advise that you don't share every hobby, keep something special to yourself so you have a place to retreat to for sanity; it also means it won't be "tainted" if you break up.

Last piece of advice for now: If you're looking for relationship advice on GWRS then you are in one seriously fucked up position to be that desperate

Do not and I mean DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE PRICE OF ANYTHING. For example say you take her out on a date, do not bitch and moan about the cost, save that for your bros, although in Iron's case, this is gonna happen either way with or without catty reading his theads and posts.
