Guys! Girls! JC! I need help...

I have a problem.. I really want a pad. A Ipad, or Upad or whatever, but a pad! Because it would be good to have one. I could plan out my week, and do.. stuff.. with it. You know! Padstuff!

But Iron bought me a brand new computer two months ago, and he is going to buy me a new phone (a HTC One) next month.. And when I came to him and asked for it he just said "No"..

I've tried everything! I looked cute while asking, said "pleasepleaseplease", looked even more cute, even tried to bribe him with food and other things.
But nothing!

Then I moved on to threats.. I threatened to stop making good food for him, but since he grew up on bad food, he doesn't care. I threatened to have him sleeping on the couch for a week, but since it's closer to the TV, Xbox and computer, that isn't really a good threat...


In the end I asked what I would have to do, and he said that if I could come up with good logical arguments, he would think about it! I tried myself, but it didn't go too good...

Iron - "And once again, if you ever would do it, you could still use your phone for that..."

Why not just use your phone. i mean i personally don't like tablets. your phone can pretty much do everything the tablet can do the only thing different about the tablet and the phone is the tablet has a larger screen.

I answer it.
It is a private call, and I need to use my calendar for putting up an appointment...
So, I need to put on the speaker to reach my calendar in the phone...
All my friends and all the others there hear this:
"Well then we say (a date) for a gynecological examinations, you meet Dr (whatever) at 10 o'clock..."
Not exactly what I want them to hear!

Come on! Help me out here. If I had a pad, I could reach that one without putting my phone on speaker...
Iron's answer to this was a pencil and a piece of paper... Who has that these days? It's like using those analogical postboxes... Apparently they were the grandfather to the mail...

Sadly there isn't much logical argument now for Tablets over Phones. Almost everything a tablet can do, a phone can do. The exception is Windows 8 tablets (like my Acer w510) which are both a tablet, and a computer. I can install any program or game from normal computers on this thing; obviously some high end ones won't run, but the majority do.

In the end you might just need to chloroform him put your foot down and go buy one.

Alternatively: No XB1 or PS4 if no tablet

Buy a waterproof note book and a pen, I have one for work.
No batteries to buy or apps keeps all your appointments even if you forget it in the wash

It just occurred to me that you shouldn't be trying to use logic Catty. Guy and girl logic is often continents apart so you might as well just say "thanks honey" and buy it yourself.

I mean you can't logically justify all the shoes and handbags to guys, but you got them anyway!
