here is a link about the new headset that has been designed for the X1 and now we know why we cant use current headsets due to what looks like in the picture is a usb connection but i have a usb headset so im still going to try it lol

You know if we already have voice command for the Xbox one then why not give us the ability to chat without mics.

The kinect isn't very good for communication, at least the model for the 360. If you wanna talk with the kinect during a game or movie/video, you'd have to turn the tv volume WAY down and place the kinect right next to you as far away from the tv as possible.
