And just like that, his hopes dashed away at the scene that laid below them. "We should get going. We can atleast stop this from happening to another sanctuary bruder." he said to him, wondering what's going on in cain's head after just seeing what they saw.

Cain says nothing, his body language masked behind his reaper etched mask.

You hear an odd shuffling and turnaround to see four of the childlike abberations.

They teeter oddly on nobly limbs, the flesh ripped away until they Stand on struts of bone.

Their hands have been replaced with sharp lades and their lips are stitched shut.

Burias only shooked his head as he pulled out his two bone machetes. 'Everything is a resoure to them.' a voice said in his head, rather sadly. "If we go stealthfully, we could probably get there without attracting too much attention." he said to cain

The children chitter and spit as a massive metal forearm grabs two of them and crushes them.

The last two scream and flee as cains golem pulls itself up and waits.

Cain growls and the lumbering behemoth lumbers from the roof, heading pointedly toward the center of the carnage.

Cain turns to you and motions to a roof top across from you.

" follow.."

He growls breaking into a run and leaping across the span easily

"Roof to roof......Ficken." Burias sighed to himself. He gives himself a little prep before he sprints and tries to clear the gap between the two roofs with his leap.

From roof to roof you leap , following Cain like a ghost until abruptly he stops.

Splattered in the brick of te wall written in blood is a simple phrase.

Cains hands clench as he notices a heavy burlap back hanging from a flagpole.

" what on the fick .... Did this."

"I would say the puppets..." Burias said as he glanced at the things scurrying about the town. "But even they would have to have come from somewhere, and I think that trail at the entrance might show us that answer." he suggested as he pointed at the bloody trail of the breakthrough point. He looked over to him. "This has gotten under your skin too, hasn't it bruder?" he asked him as he noted his agitated state.

Cain shakes his head as if to clear it and hops onto a ladder that leads down I to the streets below.

" forget it... Just move burias."

Burias followed him down the ladder, shaking his own head to himself. "And yet your not. Instead you are going to and shove the feeling down inside till the bubbles stop coming up." he said as he climbed down, a little faster than he did going up the last one.

cain laughs as his boots hit the bottom with a loud click.

He unslings his rifle, crouching low in the shadows as four massive bearlike ghiouls move past the alley.

there is a few tense moments,k the puppets dont see you and they move on in the direction of the golem

cain leads you silently, through the gaping fleshewall to the mouth of a massive tunnel.

"You say that, but you really do not know that. There is options, you are just too stubborn to see them." he said to cain as he looked down the hole infront of them. "We are talking more about it after this, you know that right?" He said with a smirk underneath the gasmask.

cain walks into the gaping maw without a word.


Its like walking into hell. The walls are covered in the flesh carpet, the stench of rot and decay assault yoursenses as you come to a fork in the road.


Down one, a cold aura fills the air, down the other, a loud mass of groans and screams can be heard.

Burias looked down the two paths as he thought which one to take and what might be waiting at each one. He shrug as he pulled out a coin from one of his coat pocket, making sure he didn't grab the little charm either. He flicked in the air, caught it, and looked at the result. "Ok." he said before looking over to cain. "That one." he told him, nodding to the one that seem so much colder than the rest of the cave.

"Well, this is seems very out of place." Burias said quietly into the comm piece to Cain. He looked around for moment before he shrugged and walked up to the door. Seeing no view ports or anything, Burias knocks lightly on the door with gauntleted hand. The voices in his head were baffled as to why he decided to do this rather than go through the door.

the door sounds like heavy oak and you hear a quiet voice answer you.

"come in.."

a startlingly human voice answers, as the door unlocks.

The voices went silent in his head as they were proven wrong by what just happened. He looks over to Cain and gives him a shrug of 'why not?' before he opens the door respectfully and enters the room. "Hello?" he says quietly, not wanting to be rude as he looks around inside.

You see a woman sitting at a table. She doesnt look much past 40, but she sits at a table knitting.

WHat catches your eyes is a long drape of human skkin spread over her legs, and the fact that she is knitting organs together like cloth.

"Hello friends.."

she breathes without looking at you.

"Its been so long since somones come to visit.."

"Well, it is kind of hard to get here frauline." he said to her as he stayed respectful. He walks a little closer to her now, not sure what to make of the whole thing still. "May I ask what you are knitting together?" He asked her, looking at the various organs and it's skin.

She turns to you, a beautiful smile on her porcelain smooth face but your stomach wrwtches

Her eyes, witch where barely covered by locks of black hair have been stitched shut .
