As you may have noticed all Global Mods have been reset to their default rank. When this site was made the former Global Mods were given their ranks as a show of respect due to their prior contributions to the community as opposed to their ability to actually moderate the forum.
If you're wondering why am I still head of the Mod Team it is because I was the only moderator still active on the old forum and it was agreed during the merge that I would continue to moderate the new forum. Since my promotion was not simply an honorary title, I continue to serve as the Head Moderator.
Now, onto the business at hand.
As I am now the sole Moderator, I am in need of a small team of Global Moderators to assist me. If you feel you are up to the task please continue to read the requirements and submit an application to me via PM. Applying via any other means will be ignored. Former members of the Mod Team are free to apply, but are not guaranteed a spot.
Requirements:
- You must follow all rules and set an example for other members.
- You must follow any direction given to you by me, the Head Moderator (, or in some cases an Admin)
- You must treat all members with a high degree of respect.
- Finally you must agree to not abuse your power as a moderator in any way.
The following is a list of Pro's and Con's that may help or hinder your chances of being chosen. Make sure to mention any that apply on your application. (Be honest)
Pro's
- Experience as a Moderator.
- Good English skills.
- Able to distinguish a spam bot from a normal user.
- Willingness to learn.
Con's
- Previous rule violations.
- Often unavailable to moderate.
