Is defiance any good?

I can saftly say it is one of my favour ate games. You get out what you put in. If you don't feel like doing much you can just roam and kill. There is a large mainline mission you can complete it you wish or join up with other players through special missions or pvp. If you also whatch the tv series again you get more background to the world your fighting to survive in. Personally I say it's worth it.

Shadow War alone makes it for me. Think 16 v 16 fight, across an instantiated section of the world map with objectives. The NPCs are still there, so you sometimes end up fighting Raiders and Players AND Hellbugs at once

Pretty much what they said. A lot of the initial problems have been worked out, it's worth the money if you know people that play it.

I echo the statements of cru, authrix, and othrim. The game is as paladin quoted from a review... "it's a game for players, not critics"
Are there still bugs to work out, yes.
Is there more they could have done, yes.
Is this different from any other game, no.

We have at least 5 dlc updates, guaranteed.
And to be fair, unless they release something in the dlc that's illegal, or renders the game completely unplayable on a permanent scale, I can see good things ahead for season 2....

Besides this game being amazing and worth every penny and much more, the things that happen make for some comical times, much more than other games. The game is truly a f2p mmo/tps as well, after you pay the initial $60, you can chose to not pay anymore and not be penalized for it like most other mmo's. there are benefits to paying for season pass and other things but those are ascetics purposes and convenience but don't make the game pay to win. Also, one thing that always attracts me to a game company is customer service and trion has superb customer service, you can go to their website and talk to someone live about a bug or problem you are experiencing and if they can fix it (and 99% of the time they can) they will.

All right i will have to think about it and have a talk with my accountant/boss (aka mother ) but is it ok to join the deathcorps even though im in ravenguard? I probubly know the answer to this but im to tired to really think but i was thinking i would join you guys if it doesnt interfere with my raven guard being 2 completely different factions ^.^ unless im mistaken?
