[Prosperan Son]

"The Trandasin System within the Gallius Sector, which I'm sure your both aware that is going through all out hell for lack of better words." Kyras answered continuing to walk on. It was true and rumors had spread fast that war had settled over the three major sectors within the Gallius Sector. It wouldn't be long before the war spread out towards the other systems but the Imperium was doing their best to keep it contained within the three zones.

After hearing much about it from other soldiers and sailors, Krauss wasn't too suprised that the chaos warlord went there with all that is happening there. "Think he is using the events there to rebuild?" he asked Kyras, wondering if he was thinking the same thing.

"Without a doubt, the questions are though: is he responsible for the hell breaking loose in Trandasin? Is he involved with any of the other factions? Or does he have another agenda." Kyras said as they reached the mess hall. He opened the door first, allowing them to enter.

"If he was here for his own, that would be one thing. But if he is here for someone else, that might mean someone gives him orders." he ventured as he walked pasted the doors with a nod of thans to Kyras. The idea that the chaos lord had a superiour did not sit well in his stomach.

"A United Chaos Front is rare but not unheard of. Sources say though that the campaign is being lead by the Arch-Enemy elite. The Traitor Astartes." He let that hang.

" What do we know about the system though?Aside from the fact that there are traitor forces in abundance." Nessa interrupted, trying to discern any critical information they could." Why Trandasin? What are the possible priority targets?"

"There's a number of forge worlds and an armory world." Krauss suggested, remembering the best he could from when he glanced at the information that Kyras gave them earlier as a primer for the area before the transistion into the warp.

"Indeed, but there's more to it then that, I assure you." Kyras let on, moving to the counter and requesting a heavy drink. He gestured to Nessa and Krauss to get themselves some drinks.

Nessa walked up and simply asked for a small cup of caffeine.

"What else is there?" He asked him. The only thing there that he thought would be important would be those worlds. He order a large cup of caffeine, not wanting to got to sleep anytime soon after last night.

Kyra's took a seat at one of the tables, sipping from his cup of amasec. Setting the cup down, he motioned for them to sit before beginning.

Krauss grabbed his container of caffeine and sat in a chair at the table. He took off his gasmask and helmet and set them aside on the table so he could drink while they talk. Now he waited for Kyras to tell them what he knew and they didn't.

" From what information we've gathered in the lest eight years of hunting the bastard, we've learned much. His capabilities, his followers, some of his preferred tactics and mannerisms, but one important fact as recently come up." He cut off briefly, pulling out a slip of paper from his pocket. He set it down on the table. It was a picture of a blueish grey planet " The Cardinal World Zoratus, it would appear this is his home world."

He looked at Kryas with a raised brow. "So he went home?" Krauss said, somewhat bewildered now. "So he's more than likely here for personal reasons?" he asked as he took a good swig of his drink.

[Prosperan Son]

"Without a doubt."Kyras took another drink from his own cup. " He is a chaos saint from a Cardinal World. He's returned to "enlighten" his people as he sees it." Kyras went on, doing his best to explain.

"So for all purposes, this is a war of faith?" Nessa asked, her augmetic hand raised to her chin, in thought.

"Aren't they all?" Replied Kyras.

"Just look at this way. What we know was that he was an outcast amongst his people, on the run from Imperial forces for his beliefs." Nessa continued, taking a quick drink of her caffeine." Now he returns at the head of a Chaos host, granted powers by what he believes to be true gods. He's here to prove them wrong."

"What forces are even on the shrine world?" he asked. He wanted to know how long the planet could be able to last against whatever the chaos lord had brought with him. If the inhabitants had any zealously, hopefully they won't fall to corruption easily and make resistance last even longer.

"As a result of the relations that the three worlds have, it produces a tough breed of devout multi-specialist regiments. The last thing that will happen is corruption by Chaos. The fact that they orbit over Rahn, provides them with a suitable supply of vehciles, armor and the weapons they'll need to hold off."Kyras downed the rest of his drink. Shaking his head a bit to drive off the aftereffects.

"How long before we can assemble a counter strike?"Nessa inquired.

Nessa's question brought up a few things he needs to go over before they head off. 'Should stock up on ordinance for the demo kit, and maybe even looked up different shells for the shotgun as well.' he thought to himself as he listened for the answer to her question.

Kyras coughed a bit, setting his cup down. The look on his face was grim "Not soon enough. With everything going on inside the Sector, Imperial Forces are spread thin. Our forces are stretched both trying to contain the outbreaks and fight the war itself."

"Sounds like they will need something that will give them an edge till something can be spared latter." Krauss thought aloud before finishing off his caffine. "Such as maybe breaking the back of the enemy forces?" he suggested as he gathered his helm and gasmask under his arm or now and putting the cup aside.

"A small insertion fleet is being assembled that will provide a brief counter strike. The goal is to insert several regiments of guard that will help the Cardinal forces hold off the Archenemy as long as they can." Kyras revealed, leaning back in his chair." We're going to be part of the insertion force."

"So a hot drop? This should prove interesting." Krauss noted as he thought about the idea of hurtling to the ground in a burning hunk of metal against enemy gunfire. He hope it wouldn't be the case. "How long till then?" he asked.
