The release for the Tau Codex is tomorrow, but overall I think this codex will be use for allies for a lot of armies. I can see it now Eldar/Tau, Chaos/Tau, or even the Cheesy Necron/Tau combo that everyone will complain over.

All this really means for me is , that my games against tau will be a bit more interesting.

Broadsides got more expensive. All the current Meta really used Tau for was Broadsides for air support; whether that changed or not I don't know, but I doubt it will. don't quote me on that though.

My friend got all his models on Thursday, the Codex is really really cool in terms of rebalance. Space Popes are actually useful now - you shoot at them, they roll a dice, if they roll higher than the AP weapon you fired the shot misses the squad...

Ethereals now have a squad shield ability, it makes them hard to kill with low AP weapons (railguns, plasma weapons etc etc). Previously they were useless, so this was the way to make them appealing.

They will be amazing attached to squads holding positions such as objectives and Aegis Defense Lines

Well now that means just hit that unit with AP 4 or higher to just kill them. What about weapons that have no AP value will it effect them as well?

I view having to roll a five or six better for me considering bolters are ap four or five, crap how can I not remember this!!!!!!! 
Anyways I'm going to see if I can get that big ass battle tank from forge world.

Luck is one thing I've got plenty of this year, which is ironic because based on the Chinese calendar it is the the year of the snake, and I am year of the tiger. Snake and tiger are natural enemies, so this shouldn't be a good year for me, yet I've had much food luck so far.

I've read a lot of hate about the new 'dex and i feel that on the most part it is not warranted. I have not played a game with the new 'dex yet but i've poured through it and I like it.
