[Thugren]

Deep within the darkness of the earth a single pebble falls from a shale shelf. This rock , loosened by decades of erosion tumbles into a foetid black pool and vanishes.

The water ripples and the black water bubbles and froths as a figure breaks free of the frigid pool and drags itself into shore.


Memories, haunting and painful if ills the creatures mind. An explosion... Cold... Wandering.... Blackness.....


A million voices all screamed in its head as the ancient creature awoke.... And for the first time in hundreds of years.... It opened its eyes....




In her room noctourne heard the birth wail with damning clarity. The first rider.... War had awoken.... Her plans where in danger.... All the groundwork to be undone if this agent of chaos completed its goal.
Standing upon shaking legs she walks to a bookshelf and hits a button the case opens revealing a single cryostasis tube, the gentle light illuminating a figure inside.


The creature was massive looking as of it was carved from pale marble. Only one word adorned the tank .


Michael..... Angel of war.


Noctourne hears the distant beasts second birth wail and shivers .

" he comes ...... Father is awakening and sending my brothers to herald his call.... This cannot be Michael... It cannot."

The figure opened its eyes, considering her and nods.

Back in the pit, the figure is taking shape. Its body shapes itself to the memory of its genetic donor. A warrior culture. One of pride and honor, martial prowess and wisdom.

The beast lets out a horrid scream and hunches over as its metomopheses is complete and suddenly is alert to another presence. A single human watches impassively . His figure obscured by a skin tight bodysuit.


" hello rushin..... It's a good thing to see you're awake..."

The familiar voice chuckles, draping warm cloth around the riders frigid flesh...
