"Yeah, sure, send me out to the store room.. It's not like there's might be something dangerous out there..." Mike mutters while he walks away towards the sore room.
It was made in a joking tone, but still had a serious message. Therefore he made sure to have a tight grip on his sledgehammer, just in case something else would pop out of the night and try to kill him...

the is a loud snarling behind the door, you hear something ripping and claweing arouind in the small room and notice there is two windows on the side to peek in through

"Oh fuck..." Mike whispers to himself, and starts easing himself towards the window, all to ready to bring down the hammer if needed. Ever so carefully he peaks through the window, praying that whatever was inside was small, weak and alone...

Inside the room is one of your coworkers, Max, raging and ripping at the shelves in the room.

A huge bite is on his neck and his eyes are wild and bloodshot

As Mike saw who, or what, was inside the room, his heart sank in his chest.
"Oh, not you too Max..." He whispered in disbelief. He had not known Max that well, but he had still been a part of the crew, someone Mike had worked, laughed and spent time with. Even thought Max now was something else, it still pained Mike to see him this way.

Either way, he needed to get the food, and before 'the thing formerly known as Max' got to it all. He moved around to the door and readied his hammer. Just as he was about to charge through the door, he stopped himself. A thought occurred to him. Carefully, he reached out and knocked on the door..
"Let's see how clever you beast's are, shall we?" Mike said to himself, and pulled back the hammer, ready for a devastating blow.

[Thugren]

Within an instant the beast slams into the door, almost breaking it off its hinges.

You hear it stumble back as it readies another blow

"Whoa!" Mike said in surprise, and quickly moved to the side of the door, readying his hammer so that he could strike out at the "Thing-Formerly-Known-As-Max" as soon as it busted through the door.

it slams through, howling in fury and lungwes at you, teeth bared

"HOLY FFFFFFF!!!" Mike shouts out and tries to jump away from anything that could hurt him, and in the same time takes a swing with his sledge hammer in the general direction of the thing...

Not intending to let Ma.. the thing get to its feet again, Mike ran towards it, hammer held high above his head. As soon as he was in striking he brought the hammer down with all his strength and all his wrath...

"You fat fu.." Mike growls as he uses all of his strength to push of the thing, all while he twists his head side to side to avoid getting the wrong kind of face lift..
