[Iron K]

"Let's spend the night in the construction trailer. We should use some of the equipment and material to 'fortify' it a bit.. Let's get started.. I can take guard, in case of those things coming back. Won't be able to sleep anyways after what I've seen today..."

He nods and heads inside as you take up your place above the trailer.

The night is quiet, you can see figures shambling in the distance and light growls in the air.

What do you do to pass the time

Mike sits and watch out over the area. His thoughts are in chaos, and at last he stops trying to make sense of everything, and simply accept it.
Looking down on the sledgehammer in his hands he realizes something. Just a day ago, it had only been another tool to do his work with. Now it was his chosen weapon.. A weapon he had killed a.. One of those things with.

Feeling how his eyelids was getting heavier, he stands up and starts walking back and forth over the trailer, keeping a paranoid eye out over the area, fearful of what else might lurk out there.

Something catches your eye.

It's there for only a fraction of a second, barely noticeable but in the distance you see a figure. It's form is pale and lanky, but it's emaciated face considers you, it's head cocked to the side .

A wicked, impossibly large grin spreads across its face and as soon as its smile crests it vanishes.

[Iron K]

A cold shiver goes down Mikes spine. He did not like this, not at all.
Knocking slightly on the roof of the trailer, he speaks out in a quite voice.

"Are you awake mate? Something happening out here.."

[Thugren]

The smile is imprinted in you. You be heard rumors and y'all tales of this area but nothing that could describe the figure.


A sleepy burble can be heard inside the trailer as an answer but ad you can see the figure closer then before, staring at you from behind the gate.

A fearful rage exploded inside Mike.
"YOU WANT SOME OF THIS YOU SMILEY-FACED BASTARD!?!" He shouted out swinging his sledgehammer threatening. As soon as he had, he cursed himself for his stupidity. He had basically pointed out their position to whatever else there was out there in the darkness.
Stomping hard on the roof, he called out once again to Rick.
"Wake up mate! The shit is about to hit the fan, and not in a good way!"

[Thugren]

Suddenly you feel a sharp tug and a set of long bony fingers wrap around your throat from behind.

More smiles appear in the distance and you hear Rick yelp and a heavy crack can be heard inside the trailer

"RICK"! Mike shouted out, more fearful for his friends fate than for his own. He swung his sledgehammer over his head, hoping to hit whatever was behind him.

There is a moist splat and the grip loosens. You turn around to see the ruined skull of one if those things peering up at you as you see another hurled out a window.

" mother fucker!"

Rick spits , crawling onto the roof be fuse you.

" thing tried to choke me!"

"I know the feeling.." Mike responds through a sore throat.
"Let's wipe the grin from these smile-faced bastards!" He growls as he looked around, trying to get a grip on how many there were up against.

[Thugren]

Four of the undead lumber at you, their long fingers outstretched as Rick grabs a price if rebar .

" you know I blame you for this right rmike?"

[Iron K]

"Me?! I'm not the one that snores like a rusty forklift! I'll tell you, it's probably that noise that woke the dead..." Mike says while pulling back his sledgehammer, and releasing a wide swing against the closest of the undead.

The ghoul is sent back with a mangled skull and slumps to the ground as Rick slams the second roughly with the rebar , spearing it to the ground.

The last one runs without a word and Rick pants.

" they.... Paced us... Like animals."

"Ain't no animal I know of that look like that!" Mike says between ragged breaths. He looks after the last thing running away, and tries to slow down his beating heart.
"Are you okay mate? You aren't hurt, right?"

[Thugren]

He shakes his head, panting loud.

" this whole thing has gone to shit man."

He cracks his neck.

" if the government already knows and can't control it we need to leave... Get somewhere safe to wait this out."

[Iron K]

Mike looks at Rick with an raised eyebrow, then sweeps his eyes over the surrounding city.
"Good point mate. But something in my guts tells me this won't just blow over.. Either way, we need to find a better place than this. Let's gather our stuff up and get moving."

Rick leads you into the trailer and begins to look around for supplies.

"Go look in the store room, they usually have some food stored away for the worksite,k ill get us some shit for the walk."
