EVE Online is a space-based MMO on PC. DUST 514 is an FPS MMO on PS3 set on a world in EVE. They use the same economy, so players on one can sell and buy from players on the other game. EVE players can call upon DUST mercs to board enemy (player guilds) assets, while DUST players can summon airstrikes from EVE players in their ship.

GWRS is going to be arms dealers on EVE, and funnel twinkiedinkies to our DUST players

Ok with a quick explanation cru you've made it sound good, especially as the pc side is Space based. If its free I'm getting it tonight on the PC and try and work it out. Also eve side are like arms dealers, I like the sound of that :).

PC is $15 a month, but you can buy it with ingame currency once you get skilled enough. DUST is freemium

Must resist urge to start... Still with a spotty Internet connection it might work as long as I'm not too involved in major battles.

Mining and weapons manufacture seems like things I could do to help.

it's a bit of a weird game, you do all your leveling passively. You buy and read skill manuals to add them to your repository. You then train these skills from level 0-1-2-3-4-5, each level taking longer to train. Most skill manuals have prereq skills to read them. Each skill affects different things, and each level amplifies that effect: eg my mining barge says for each level of "Mining Barge" skill I gain 5% bonus mining extraction yield.

You can add as many skills into the skill (training) queue as you want, provided the last skill in the queue starts training no later than 24 hours from the first.

Skill queue trains while you are both online and offline, hence the passive statement.

It takes ~ a day to level into basic mining, but you'll need a loan to get the equipment you need. It takes ~ 35 days to level into the most advanced mining barge. You can buy PLEX (Pilot License EXtension - aka 30 days gametime) on the website and sell it ingame for ~550Million ISK
