So I have been talking with my friends who play space marines and they say that there may be a few new rules to the space marine bikes can any one confirm this or is this false information?

There is no more 4/5 instead now your toughness 5. Yay to Nurgle bikers now being T6. You get hammer of wrath when charging, you get an automatic 5+ cover save, and you don't need to worry about dangerous terrain because you get your regular armor save. Another than this I don't see anything new about bikes
Cast down the idols! Destroy the temples! Slay the priests! Show these fools that they worship nothing more than a rotting corpse!

If they're DA players they'll be getting bikes with TL Plasma Guns rather than TL bolters. Bikes are now one toughness for all purposes as Morentz said - SM bikes are T5 (so no more melta instadeath).
