[Opeth Of Epica]

Since there's been a lot of talk about gaming conduct recently, I've came up with an idea of a tournament for the people who are fed up of the bullshit overpowered weapons in Space Marine (or anyone else who wants to play a Space Marine tournament). The tournament is called 'Bolt and Blade' where each match will consist of a 1v1 match with the rules below:

• Annihilation game type to be used
• All matches are to be done on Manufactorum with arena rules (including no ramps)
• Respawn time of 5 seconds
• Unlimited time
• First to 20 kills
• Max armour and armour regeneration to be normal
• Player decorators are to be set to on
• No Perks
• Tactical Class only
• Bolt Pistol, Knifes and Grenades only
• Spectators are optional
• Each Player MUST have at least 3 bar connections or the match will be counted as void unless both players agree to continue with the match with connection issues. A spectator would be suggested to even out connections if connection issues are present.

There will be no 'losers bracket' for this tournament and each match will be given a week to finish. If you have interest in competing in this tournament or want to express your opinion whether this is a good idea or not please reply below.

I would include bolters into this. Just bolters though, not storm, twin, stalker, or heavy, just bolters...

Thanks for showing intrest although this tournament will not include Bolters, only Bolt Pistols.

Sounds like a pretty good start for setting up a tournament. You will need to rethink the connection portion of the rules. Some connections can not be helped when you have people facing each other from around the world.

How? There's nothing to rethink.

Spectators will fix connections problems (unless where in Alaska, Austraila etc) and if the connect isn't fixed by that, they either:

1. Play anyway
2. Refuse to play and both forfit
3. Shouldn't have entred the tournament in the first place

Spectators will fix most connections. I am just saying that there will be other causes were both people will have to deal with lag. Talk with CruciasNZ to see if you can set up this tournament. I will help you set it up and run the tournament if you get the okay. You might want to wait awhile to start this tournament because we still have two in progress.

not interested. doesnt sound like a game that includes tactics. just comes down to whoevers team is better with a bolt pistol. plus i dont like the fact that you HAVE to play on manufactorum and you HAVE to stay in the arena. not interested.

Read the rules, it's Tactical only with Bolt Pistol, Grenades and Knife on no perks.
