He let out a harsh hiss, one of anger rather than pain. He turns around ignoring the burnt smell and pain to find the offender that had the audacity to shoot at him while he was having his fun.

What could only be one of the Rebel sergeants stood behind Kombuse, las-pistol in one hand, chainsword in the other. "DIE YOU WRETCH!" He snarled, charging towards Kombuse, las-pistol firing as he ran.

He his head cocked to one side."After you." He said in mock politeness, a sneer across his features, before he rushes forward to tackled the rebel sargent to the ground.

The Sergeant side stepped, barely avoiding the tackle and swung at Kombuse with his chainsword, aiming for his right shoulder in an attempt to remove his arm.

Oberga tries to twist around and grab the sergeant's sword arm, in attempt to simply rip off his appendage this time.

The Sergeant to his credit only gritted his teeth, holding back the scream even as his sword arm was ripped right out of it's socket. Bringing his las-pistol to bear, he put another round through Kombuse, the round only grazing the right side of historso.

Oberga gives off another annoyed his. Still holding the limb, he takes the chainsword out of the detached hand's grip. But instead of using the sword, he went to start beating the sergeant's skull in with his own limb. "Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself." he repeated as he did so, with a rather disturbed joy to his hissing tone.

The Sergeant brought his other hand to protect himself, but his feeble attempts at a defense left him just as his blood did. After a few seconds, he was unconscious and soon dead. With his death, the Rebels seemed to falter, the zeal they had demonstrated earlier dying along with their leader.

Mugiar put two rounds in the back of another rebel as he turned to flee."COWARDS! ALL OF YOU COWARDS!" The ganger snarled, firing at more of the fleeing guerrillas.

Oberga reaches down and rips off the sargeant badge from the tattered uniform of the rebel and stuffed it into a random pouch on his person. He looks and picks up the humming chainsword, flicking it off, as he starts chew the flesh off the arm he just used as a club. "It'll do." he grunted to himself as he puts it into the scabbard and takes it as his own for now, at least till it breaks like other trophies he takes. "Don't run! Don't run! I'm just getting started!" he roared at the fleeing rebels.

Few lasrounds were exchanged in the final moments, only a rabble of the fighters kneeling to provide cover fire for their allies. Mugiar fired one last round before turning back to the convoy."We've wasted too much time here! Get me a quick head count of all of us left and someone search the wreck from the truck for anything salvageable!" He gave out his orders, motioning for Kombuse to return.

"I suppose I should let him back." oberga growled to himself. The gasmask reknitted itself back together in the innocent draconic smile from before and the glow from behind the red lenses faded out. "Wha..where...oh." Caboose said as he looked around now and realized what happened. "Did we win?" he asked with his own voice, going to catch up with Mugiar now, new stuff with him now.

"Aye, the bastards fled as soon as you took down their leader." Mugiar answered, kneeling down to pick up a gun from one of the dead. The rest of the gangers were going about, scavenging from the rest of the bodies.

Kombuse looked at him with his head tilted to one side before looking down to the limb that looked like it was chewed on just now realizing he was carrying. "Oh, guess that makes sense now." he said dropping the arm, still not sure what happened but went with it for now. He heard the voice chuckle darkly in the back of his mind.

"There will be food for us when we get back to the city. Now get in the car."Mugiar ordered, ignoring the fact that the krieger had just finished chewing on a man's limb.

Kombuse shrugged and followed muigar, feeling a rather hunger actually now. He's not quiet sure why, but he felt really happy despite some really minor pain he felt in some spots. He goes to hope in one of the surviving cars with Mugiar and wait for the convoy to get going.

Mugiar stepped into the car, sitting beside Kombuse." And now we're going to be late, a car destroyed, and five men dead. The Mandori's going to have someones head for this..." He groaned in annoyance, rubbing his neck, imaging where the blade would fall.

Kombuse stomach growled a bit before he spoke. "It could be worse, we could have been going back with nothing, or a plague, or a baby." Kombuse started listing off but stop when he thought he was started getting annoying.

Mugiar raised a brow, unsure exactly how to respond to Kombuse. He looked out the windows of the car, viewing the the darkness of night." You made a good showing today."

He looked at him after he buckled himself into the seat of the car. "Really?" he asked him, rather confused by his claim. As he buckled he noticed that he had a chainsword now. "When did I get that?" he asked himself.

Mugiar looked at Kombuse dumbfounded, not sure what to think." Your telling me you don't remember beating their leader senseless with his arm? That's his chain sword your using my friend."
