"What reason?" Kombuse asked him as he kept looking out, interested in what the answer would be.

"This world hasn't been fully established yet. There are still feral humans out there. Instead of hunting them down, the government instead put up these fences to keep them at bay. They usually stay away but every so often they get bold and attack with their creatures." He warned, lifting his shirt to show a long scar running down his chest to his stomach.

"Should have just exterminate them." the voice whispered in his head. Kombuse just simply nodded and then looked at the pdf base they were closing in on. "how many people are we meeting?" he asked.

"Just a few. We've got men within the PDF regiment who have already pledged themselves to the masters. Although there is some infighting here and there, the armored ones will keep everything in check." Mugiar replied as the vessel pulled within the perimeter around the Base, the wall guns tracking their every movement.

"Trusting, aren't we?" The voice chuckled as Kombuse saw the gun turrents tracking them with rather large bore weapons. "Armoured ones?" Kombuse asked him.

"You will see one soon. He helped the Mandori Clan when we took over the Dirgas and Orrin Districts. Supplied with us tactics and even trained some of us how to fight." This should go swiftly." Mugiar answered as they pulled into a garage.

Kombuse just nodded as he waited for the transport to stop. He looked around to see if he spot the people they were suppose to meet, and have an idea of how they might be.

"Get out of the vehicle." A voice roared through the glass, amplified by the vox caster of the marine who spoke. Standing at the front of the vessel was a fully armored astartes, his armor a dark hue of blue etched with acid green, a three headed serpent was emblazoned across the marine's right shoulder and a leather cloak was wrapped over him, his serpent helm hidden in a hood.

" That is one of the armored ones." Mugiar whispered, waiting for Kombuse to step out first.

"Oooh, the big ones." Kombuse said quietly with realization, seeing them before in different invasion fleets. There were many different kinds of big ones though, red ones that screamed and liked blood appereantly, ones who liked to read loudly from big books about the gods, and many more. "Alpha Legion."He heard the voice remarked in his head, seeming to know what group the armoured one was apart of. He steps out of the vehical first, doubting muigar would get out on his own.

Mugiar stepped from out of the vehicle right after Kombuse, keeping the stub pistol at his hip holstered. Walking towards the Alpha Legionnaire , he bowed in respect before speaking to the Astartes in a language unknown to Kombuse. As the spoke, the Astartes glanced towards Kombuse, examining him.

"Uh oh." Kombuse simply said to himself, never really like getting any sort of attention from the big ones at all. "And what plans are your kin hatching now serpent ones?" Kombuse heard the voice wondered.

Mugiar and the Legionnaire spoke for a few more minutes before the Astartes turned away, walking towards into the main building, bending down to enter through the door way. Mugiar walked back to Kombuse, motioning for him to follow with a nod of his head.

Kombuse readied his gear and goes to follow Mugiar. "What was that about?' he asked quietly, refering to the conversation between Mugiar and the Alpha legion marine.

"Zailo simply wondered you were. He is suspicious of newer members." Mugiar replied with a shrug of his shoulders, gesturing for Kombuse to follow him with a wave of his hand.

Kombuse continued following Mugiar, not sure where to though. He let the bolter rest on it's sling that was strapped across his shoulder for now, not seeing much need for it yet.

"This will be quick, I promise." Mugiar assured Kombuse as they entered the armory, which buzzed with labor. Large tracked servitors were going about moving large crates of ammunition, autoguns, lasguns and even several heavy stubbers out from the collection and towards the garage.

Kombuse watched the process with interest, seeing all neat looking stuff being loaded into the transport vehicals. "Is there anything we should worry about though?" he asked him.

"Here? No there should be nothing. Getting back after we have the supplies though? That's another story altogether." Mugiar answered with a shrug of his shoulders, watching the loading process as well.

Kombuse absently nodded at first but then snapped his view back to muigar. "Wait what?" he asked, wondering why it is on the way back and not loading they should worry about.
