I plan on painting a chaos armor skin to honor my brothers here. I was thinking black with brass trim. Any thoughts?

Why those particular colors coming to mind?

Brass beause of the world eaters and because it is a prominent color in 40k

White would be to bright as well as red. But I am open to suggestions.

Based on the current allegiance I'd have said a dark blue, but that might be too Night Lordesque. Maybe a really dark purple or green? Though that has very little bearing on honoring your brothers here. Black works, I was just curious why, as those colors remind me of the Black Legion a lot.

I like the night lords as a chaos chapter. They don't hold any perticular chaos god and aren't in to all that mutations stuff. I don't care for the black legion to much either.

Worshipping khorne is all well and fine but you must go with the original heretics who braught them all together...... And that would be the Word Bearers. They worship all of the gods. And give no fealty to one. Boltgun and Macharite red are the colors to go for. They do mutate but they are the true followers of chaos.

However if yo just want renegades go for the corsairs and huron blackheart.

But follow the true dark apostles of chaos and go word bearers.
