i have recently taken an interest in the fantasy table top and i even chose an army, the orks and goblins army, which is completely crazy and its also somewhat harder to use the magic system because it can really hurt you to.
So what are others thoughts, whats your fantasy army, and how crazy are they?

Dont have one but want to use Dwarfs.

I have about 5,000 Points of Dwarfs, but back in the day (I.E. 4 years ago) I played almost every army at one point, sold 'em all off.
Dwarfs, by and large, are pretty dependable, but in a competitive sense it all boils down to how well you do in the shooting phase.
My other main Fantasy army is Dark Elves. Lots of fast moving hard hitting/semi hard hitting infantry.
I like Fantasy a lot, good amount of tactical game play as well as strategic.

I have an empire army and a dark elves army as well, although i havent played fantasy in awhile, consentrated on my 40k armies so far.

so nice to see that most of you play the orcs natural enamies, the dwarves, and i am a firm believer that the orks and goblins army beat the empire when WAAAGH! Gorbad was attacking them and well cant say much of dark eldar because i have not read much about them, all good armies but mine hates them all 
but im glad you all helped revive this forum with me so i can learn a bit more about fantasy tabletop.

Yeah, 8th definitely ensured that Fantasy would take a hit. I like it personally, but it was for the most part not the best change.
So how long has everyone been playing? I've played since 2006, on the tail end of 7th.
P.S. Gorbad Ironclaw is the best model GW has ever produced. Fact.
