[Armoured Priest]

He nodded as the serpents combine to one larger one and slithered over onto Burias's shoulders. "Ja, but would not that send anyone over the edge?" he said, a ting of guilt on his involvement, even if involuntary and made by oh siht. "I guess you heard that from somwhere or someone while you locked up, Ja?" he asked, wondering how he heard of that information.

Jason nods.

" these doctors have loose lips. I heard all about it."

He answers, working done peices of wood with his knife.

" krieg payed me a visit two weeks ago... Told me all I needed to know."

"Krieg was here? What did he do here?" he asked Jason, hoping to know what Krieg might have said or have done here. The serpent of flame went up onto Burias head and nestled on the top of his head.

Jason smiles .


" he is the reason the power went out.... Told me to be ready when help got here..... My faith was rewarded."

The water bubbles and Cain comes up, a smile on his face.

" I found us a broken bulkhead..... And dry rooms with beads near an abounded wing... We can hole up there or a day or so ."

"Hm, not going to question this for bad things will just happen." He said as he stood up. "So who else is ready for a swim then?" He asked everyone who was not wet yet.

Jason wades into the water beside Cain a snarl and noms shake their head.

" you guys go ahead. Well wander the plantation ad take out some tenders. This is the food we need."

Cain nods shouldering burias.

" ready to go under?"

"You ask as if I had a choice bruder." he chuckled as he tried to stand on his own a bit more, trying to lighten what cain had to shoulder. "Ja, let us get this part over with." He said as they moved to the water.

Cain drags you under easily and the water seems to engulf you in it's murk entirely.

It takes several moments but your eyes acclimate to the murk relatively quickly.

Nothing moves in the murk as Cain drags you through a rupture in the massive facilities side.

Your lungs strain until suddenly your head breaks water and you see Cain sputtering.

"Well, we'er here." Burias said as he took in gasps of air. "I guess it was easier the first time without the dead weight?" he joked to cain, hoping that he didn't actually tired him out that badly and tried to keep him afloat too.

cain hauls you out of the water and leads you into the dark hallways of the hab quarters.

"just a little harder bruder....I just need some sleep.. "

he leads you into a dark room having multiple beds as jason dries himself off.

"Then lets get you some sleep then Ja?" Burias suggested as he goes to move on his own so cain can dry off and get some sleep. "I think I am gut now bruder." he said as he tested his knee.

Cain slips out of his clothes and flicks open his PDA.


" we've been down here a day already.... "

You hear a telltale ring and Jacobs voice answers.


The smile that spread across cains face is warm and serene as he talks to his son, idly twirling liquid iron in his fingers.


" you hungry burias ?"

Jason laughs, tossing you a mre.

" you deserve a break."

"Danke, at least we get a small one every now and then." he said as he catched the packaged meal. He opened it up to see what was on the menu today. "It will be better when we get back to everyone else though, and out of this facility." he said before he started eating.

cains eyes droop and he falls asleep easily as jason soon follows suit.

He tossed aside the emptied MRE wrapping and sat on the bed. He pulls out the pda Haas lended him and decided to do some light reading. "Might as well find what I can find out before we move again." he said as he goes to power it back on.

the pda is on reserve power, barely enough to turn on and warn you that the battery is low

He moaned silently at the flashing symbol. "Why are these made with such little battery life?" he sighed. He turns it back off and slids it back into his pants pocket sincer there is no point in it being it out now. He lays out on the bed and tries to go to sleep.

You sleep for a long time. Perfect sleep, true sleep. The voices fall silent, the patriarchs fall asleep. There is peace.


You awaken and your muscles feel stiff, Cain lays in his cot, his PDA clutched tightly to his chest.

Burias sits up as he tires to stretch some of his muscles, mostly his back and shoulders. "Did I actually sleep for once?" he asked himself. He swings his legs over and looks over to see if cain is awake or asleep still.

Neither Jason or Cain stir, their exhaustion palpable in the air
