For a moment , a pair of milky white eyes watch you.

The moment your eyes fixate on them They vanish into the murk, and Cain stops.

" something... Is pacing us.."

Cains voice whispers in your mind.

" it's been pacing us since we set foot in this place."

"And I think it is blind." Burias said in his head for cain as he stopped with him. He held the side of his head, pretty sure he was going to get a headache soon. His voices were disgruntled at the invasion of the other voice, probably the thing that stared at him. "Titan, Deks, how are you two holding up?" he asked them, wondering if they are affected as well.

[Thugren]

The ring tightens on your arm, a bit painfully, but only enough to sharpen your focus and dispel whatever mental hijonx the figure was playing and Titan growls.

For just a second you make out the outline of the beast, massive and lumbering. Dwarfing even Cain in bulk and size. You make out two large fangs and as quickly as you see it , the beast vanishes.

"wohle Scheiße." he thought to himself after seeing the outline of the creature. The thing looked liked it was even taller than himself as well. "We should probably try to keep going, although I wonder why it has not attacked us yet." he thought.

Your eyes, unaffected by the cold notice that the beast is pacing you on an upper tire , away from the water. Cain reaches out and is instantly dragged by an unseen force, slamming har against what seems to be a cell door, clutching his throat .

A pale white forearm grips him in place as hands and prison yard weapons dig into his legs and side making him snarl

Burias rushs to Cain as one of his hands becomes wreath in flames. He tried to pull cain of and away from the cell wall, while pouring flame through the bars at the owners of the the hands and weapons.

There is a scream as the flame washes into the cell, and for a minute you can see with startling clarity what's been going on. The occupants of the cell, barely human , hunched and brutish let out horrible screams as the flames crackle and cook their skin, before erupting into painful blisters .

Cain falls forward onto his knees , coughing hard as he tries to stand.

" we're... In... A prison... What in the fuck.."

"Where better to have a supply of subjects and tests." Burias said as he dragged and helped cain stand up and away from the cell and the walls, betting there where more cells around them.

The figures eyes seem to bore into you again. It's malignant presence a constant warning, a living threat. As you drag Cain through the muck you suddenly notice a painfully bright flash, and a door opens to your right, leading into a small surgical room labeled

" med bay."

[Armoured Priest]

Burias sighs and goes to help cain stand and walk. "Let's get the wounds cleaned up, who knows what was covering those make shift weapons." Burias said to cain as he helped him to the med bay. "And I doubt we got much choice." he added as they moved.

[Thugren]

Cain leans against a medical table as you enter. The room is a standard issue med bay , and from the film of dust it hasn't seen heavy use. A film of dust seems to cover everything but fresh handprints tell you Simone's been here recently

"Either this is good or bad, I'm leaning towards bad." Burias notes the prints as goes and searches the cabinets for medical supplies such as steriliing agents and bandages.

You find antiseptics and synthetic skin wraps in the cabinets as cwarmth re enters your bones.

" that thing.... Something about it.... It was every where."

He gathered what he needed and moved them to the table by cain and motioned for him to sit. "I do not think it is everywhere, is seems to have influence to make it look like that." he said as he readied some of the applicators with the sterilizing agents. "I seen it a few times already, it has a body I think." he tried to guess. "I just am not sure, since this thing is supposeably able to mess with our senses." he shrugged. "This might sting." he warned as he began cleaning out the wounds.

Cain watches calmly, your hands quickly clearing the wounds of any filth and as you look up , you notice that Cain is staring back into the blackness.

The figure is outside the room, it's fist drawn back, with a loud crash the window explodes inward and the beast lets out a roar, dragging itself theoughthe shattered glass

"Bumsen Sie auch!" Burias yelled as flames roared to life on his hands and arms as he got between it and cain. He sent a gout of flame to the thing, hopeing to slow it down so Cain can get out first.

The beast shrugs off the flames, the moist skin dousing the flames as it opens its maw exposing a long, razor studded stinger.


" now really burias did you really think that light something we..."

Cains joke was cut off as the beast lunges forward ad sweeps Cain off his feet with a brutal backhand, sending him thping back into the darkness that had spawned the monster

[Armoured Priest]

"WHY DID YOU NOT MOVE?!" Burias yelled to cain after he was flunged into the darkness past the window. He pulls out the dragon gullet machete and points at the thing in the room. "And this is why I like to carry guns!" he yelled as well to cain. He goes to sink the blade to the hilt and break it.

The blade sinks deep and snaps and the Ghoulbone quickly begins to rip and tear at the beasts pallid necrotic flesh as it swings its claws at your face , missing by mere inches.

Snarling , it lunges forward, bearing you down as a long, oily black stinger lunges for your face.

Burias pulls out the other machete as he tries to dodge, hoping to slice it off as he gets out of the way of the beast.
