Maybe it's a lack of understanding of Japanese culture, but I really don't get it. I understand Vocaloid is a vocal program developed by Yamaha, of whose musical products I'm a big fan, but this one doesn't seem to succeed as far as I'm concerned. It's an instrument, so obviously it only does what it's programmed to, but I hate the sound of it. I prefer vocoders like the E-H one. You'll never beat a real voice just for nuance.

Music is oppinionated, there is no answer with whats good and whats not in music.

Oh, I would never say a product has failed, it clearly works very well in the manner it was prescribed. It's just not my bag, is all.

I was looking around youtube and came across several "Save Miku" videos, it turns out someone or a group is trying to erase Miku and other vocaloids from the internet by removing the english versions and english subs by making false claims of copyright infringment.
I was pretty upset that this was actually happening but I heard that hundreds of thousands of fans have been trying to fight against this which I think is pretty awesome.
