Hello Everyone,

It's time to announce the new additions to the Moderation Team! However, I'd first like to thank everyone who applied for a position on the team;Thanks Guys! In the end we selected a total of seven new moderators to train. They have all been given the Acolyte (Moderator-In-Training) Rank and are now identified by their green acolyte banners. Please give them your congratulations!

Each of the new moderators has been assigned to a Senior Member of the Moderation Staff who will instruct them on how to moderate the forums. Acolytes should be contacted by their Mentor sometime today or possibly tomorrow, if you don't hear from your assigned Mentor please feel free to contact them yourself. Please check the following list to see which Mentor you have been assigned.

I admit I'm a bit confused though, at least a couple of those people are faction leaders/XO's, and I thought they could not be moderators... that's a big reason why I did not apply.

Faction leaders can not apply. None of them are faction leaders. Draco and Chewy are faciton XOs though and if they wish to be global moderators either they must remove themselves as XOs or it will be put to a vote if we give them an exemption based on thier history.

As Priest says, when the time comes that they can be elevated to Global Mod they will only be able to do so if they pass a vote. However, if they actually get that far there shouldn't be any sound reason to deny them
