Since this is a thread based on the topic of being a true gentlemen,I shall voice my honest opinion as such. I do agree that much of society has forgotten what it is to be a gentlemen, but I would not want to revert to the old standards of being a gentlemen during the nineteenth and eighteenth centuries. Instead, I believe that there is gentlemen today who could be counted as modern gentlemen. They would b e honest, respect ones decision, display selflessness and humility, and they would settle disputes with words and not insults and violence. Some aspects of the old remain, but essentially gentlemen have evolved. Of course all people are flawed, so no one may be a true gentlemen, but we may try to be one. It is like a quote from the movie gladiator, " I do not pretend to be a man by the people, but I do try to be a man for the people." We all have our weaknesses, but we must try not to succumb to them.

So today I have been running around like a wild animal looking for jobs and doing my best to look my best and be on my best, i can say for sure people are not as prepared you think they are for a man coming in dressed fine as hell for a job interview X3

My dad always says that everybody says they are the best in job interviews, but what makes people stand out is proving why they are better than everybody else. You know people say, " I believe I'm the best fit for the job. I can get the job done and I work efficiently." Everybody says that, but when ever your in a job interview you say why and make your self stand out in their mind. You have to be able to guarantee that you will actually do what you say our going to do.
