Adverts, Donations and Bling

As you may know by now, this website is expensive to run and to date has been exclusively funded by Crucias with a little help from some of the Leaders.
Now in an attempt to make the website self-sustaining and to provide prize money we are going to be implementing Google Adverts. They should be unobtrusive and get more relevant to our community over time as Big Brother Google learns what we are about (Warhammer, Games etc).
Now those who donate $10 or more will be put into the Subscriber group with the Tau Banner (because they donated for the Greater Good) and they will be exempt from viewing ads for a year. Subsequent donations reset your annual timer, donations over $10 count as $10 for subscription. ($20 will not get you 2 years simply because we need the money).
Also, Subscribers will be allowed custom name plates. Similar to how Nosk had Srgt Derpy Hooves awhile back (pictures to come). We were going to allow this for squad leaders, but now it's going to be a subscriber incentive.
I will update you more as we learn more.

Therefore let it be known that there is now a new forum rule.
This site is supported by Ads, the revenue provides our website and prizes. Ad-Blockers are not allowed. If you wish to stop viewing ads then donate
Using these plugins is now a moderation offence and can lead to banning. Please be courteous, you can avoid ads by donating if you wish.
We will be attempting to introduce forum code which prevents users seeing the site if they have any Ad-Block plugins installed. If this doesn't work we will try auto-temp-ban code for Ad-Block users. If you think it's harsh consider we are trying to survive off the ads, why should I have to pay $120 a year so you can avoid ads.
