So...here's a winner.
"My mouse is dead."
"Alright. No light? Can't move the cursor?"
"Nope. Dead. If I plug it in, the PC tries to install it."
"Okay, it's possible you need to reboot. Lets' do that."
-reboot-
"Still not working."
"It's possible that the sensor went dead. Do you have a spare mouse?"
"Nope."
"Alright. Then a replacement would be in order."
"What do we do?! We have so much to use this PC for today!"
"You can pick up a mouse at a local store such as Walmart for very cheap. VERY cheap."
"...uh.. I don't want to do that."
"In truth, ma'am, that is the fastest way to get that back up and going for you."
"Doesn't this have a warranty?"
"Yes.. through Dell. But they won't be able to ship anything until Monday."
"I'd rather do that."
"... If you have 'tons of work' to do today, I would recommend picking one up locally for a few dollars. Otherwise you're looking at not having a replacement mouse until next Thursday approximately. "
"I want to warranty it."
"...Roger that. Would you like to have us contact them for you?
"Nope. I'll do it. Thanks. -click-"
"...-Realizes I didn't get a chance to share the number."
"I scar my armor so that you may know, for I am a Templar of Blood."
