What i was wanting to do was for each chapter to find (preferably create for legal reasons) their own chapter designs and emblems and I'd put them up as seperate lines in the shop. You'd have a DA line, a CF line, a NL line etc etc.

Specifically "(2) the right to create derivative works" under "What rights are protected by copyright law". Even if we do our own artwork, if it looks anything like previous artwork Games Workshop has created in the past, they can sue us to get it removed and claim rights to all of our profits.

We're taking a chance with the image we already have. I'm pretty sure chapter logos would push us over the edge. As we have already seen, anyone that has searched anything Warhammer could quite possibly get an ad for our Gothic Wars merchandise. This could lead GW right to us.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to squish people's dreams of having their own chapter merchandise. I'm just trying to protect the website from a lawsuit. We all know that GW is awfully good at finding copyright infringers and drowning them in legalese. I'd rather that not happen to us.
