The merchant looks about his cages. After a few minutes he gestures to you and shows you two creatures. One the size of a wolf, scaled. The large dog like creature growls and paces its crampt cell. In another smaller cage a demi wyvern no bigger than a large owl, curled.

"How much would each of those cost me?" she looks around and pretends not to be very interested, but she gives each a hard scrutiny

"100 gold for the hound. 150 for the wyvernling but for both only 200 for a lady of your tastes"

After some time browsing the stalls your slave indicates to you that time is running out and advises you may want to think about heading back to the ship.

As you approach the vessle you see that the hive of activity that once was the supplying of the ship is now quiet. Water laps against the quy and the Blood red sailed ship stands tall. As you board you are welcomed back be the ships 1st mate. "Ah mistress, glad you made it back. We were about to send out a messenger for you. Loose the ropes!" he shouts over his shoulder. "I trust your trip into town was a pleasant one?"

"Well the tide is high and we make sail. We should reach our destination in two day." He bows and makes his leave as he goes about his duties

"where are my precious toys?" walks back to the torture chamber and reaches for her tools

For the next 3 days journey you amuse yourself. The Captain often in his cabin and the duties of the ship run by his 1st mate. Your slave is attentive and you notice soon that he seems able to predict what you need before you ask. Often you turn to request something and he has it already for you.

At dawn there comes a knock on your cabin door.

The door opens and one of the captains officers pokes his head round the door. "We are about to engage an imperial trade ship the captain requests you stay below deck."
