As far as I can tell this is a PC only thing. If there is one for XBOX and people are using it on Live, they'll get banned quickly. I know this happened with Modern Warfare. Just look at the "Why did I get banned?" forum on the official Live forums

Yeah, I found that a while ago. However, it's not an aim-bot. Those need to actually know where enemies are so that they can adjust your aim. That's not easy to do with an Xbox game.

That trainer just gives you infinite health, infinite ammo, and one-hit kills.

Aim-bots wall hacks speed hacks or as must old school gamers call the cheats have been around since CS (counter strike) days on the PC. They are the reason i switched to console gaming. Working in games for 15 years i can tell you that they are in every game but less likely on xbox because of microsoft policing these actions. The biggest problem with these hooks is that when used correctly the player does what a very very skilled player would do without them. SO in the end besides anti-programs like vac, punk buster, etc etc you will never really know unless you go to that person's house and watch them. even then a true cheat hook can be run in the back ground to give no visual aid.

( I am an old school CS cal-m player that used to play for -JEDI- an anti hack programming clan I am dated but it is all the same)

I used to play Halo PC quite a bit and aim-bots showed up frequently enough on there. There were cues that could help you identify whether someone is using one, such as snapping, and always knowing where you are even when they shouldn't. Of course, unskilled players always accused players that were consistently able to get headshots of having an aim-bot because they couldn't tell the difference between skill and the cheap mo-fos that used bots.

The proliferation of cheats in any game is just sad, really.

As a Dark Angels Chaplain I ask of my scouts to turn off the Aim-Assist. This helps home in my brothers on controls and Accuracy. I have seen plenty of Shnanagins in game play. I know my Scouts and Battle Brothers Fight with Honor. They may not Kill you but one of there Brothers will.
I have played against most of you at some point in random games and tip my hat to every one who has slays me in the name of the Emperor.
