I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls games. Anyone else looking into The Elder Scrolls Online? I think it's set for release next year, hopefully they'll have more info on it at E3

Yeah, I know what you guys mean. Being an MMO, it won't be able to have alot of the things in it that have always made the Elder Scrolls games so badass. Thats why i'm hoping they have more info on it at E3 than they had for Game Informer, so we can find out a little more about how they'll try and make it work

Im praying gameplay is the same, but its unlikely considering its an MMO, its gonna be the crappy 4th person view (further back and centered compared to 3rd person). If its not gonna be the typical mmo style gameplay I will have mt hopes up.

problem with that is - the non-hardcore fans already bitch that the mechanics "Suck" so what do you think will happen when this goes MMO?

I'm praying that it's mainly like the Elder Scrolls now in the way of gameplay, but just lets others play with you. I highly doubt this, but I can always hope

idk, I'll prolly ignore this game. Too many Mmo's to try out and all are time consuming. Now if it was another console game with a multiplayer aspect to it. Then they might have my attention/wallet

I can't remember the exact quote but I'm sure you get the jist. I was very excited to see it but I'm really turned off to the fact it will be like this.


Only way to play elder scrolls is in first person... Well at least for me. If I'm over looking my character and don't have full control I don't want anything to do with it. I would be happy with them pulling together and making this game BUT having maybe 10-25 guys playing normally like we are used to. First person awesomeness.


Maybe the next elder scrolls will have a coop option at least I wish and hope for it.

well the only thing i can say right now, is that the game is NOT lore-friendly

if you want to know why, then look up info on the 3 factions, but more important the faction with the nords

I know, straight ahter Skyrim as well, Nords and Dummer, what were they thinking

And the idea for the nemesis to be Molag Bal is terrible as well, it at least made sense when it was Mehrunes but this is terrible. I would have prefered it to be somone like Boethiah. Although if you read hid lore theres a good chance it is.

Hmm I liked Skyrim well enough but not a big TES fan so this doesn't excite me. Not going to start a MMO for the first time with a series I'm not really into. After reading Grimaldus' link I am even less interested. Anything that breaks its own cannon I can't really trust just like the ending of ME3.
