[Talon Lord Othrim]

Well since the dawning of The Hunters story Nox started much has evolved. From the epages of his adventure stats were produced so the 'Characters' could be used in Table Top. This in turn prompted me to 'make' a Night Lord army specifically the Hunters from the story. These are not really to be played but more as a display set.

So here is a blog of sorts as to how things go. It will take me some time to complete as I have very low funds but bit by bit i will get there.

 

Like all my figures I prefer to work from the base up. Set the figure in a scene which in turn produces a whole picture, I personnaly feel even a well painted fig looks unfinished if the same time and detail is not added to the base but that may just be me.

The plan for this fig was to make him large and impressive so picking a wide base and building height. So this is a two stage base. I won't go into too much detail. Any questions about anything you see just ask.

Once this stage is complete I need something for HIM to stand on...

With the staging platform ready I base coated the sewer and began to position it on top. Already you can start to see the effect of the base.

Well now I am happy with the over all structure time to breath a bit of life into it.

I like to give the eye somthing to look at as well as the figure so I included action in the base by incorperating flowing ooze out of the pipe and the reaching of the Ghouls arms. This should give the impression that they are reaching up to capture the Talon Lord Fig (they not very bright) through the broken floor like they did the last victem you can see still decomposing.

I am now working on the Talon Lord Fig it'self so the next section should be it's completion.

Because there would only be one diorama. And Dern, plus any others that pay for a mini, would like it on their shelf which requires more than a single thing.

well I would need to buy the base fig. I'm not great with green stuff and if you wanted extra parts from somthing else i would need to get that to. I should have mine done by end of week. have a look then and make your decisions lol I'm not a gold deamon winner lol. I do it for the love and challenge of it not for a price. cover postage and parts thats all.

If people think my work is good enough and willing to wait cos it do take a while doing them i don't mind. Oh and if anyone puts them into a Golden Deamon comp I will not be happy unless they pretend to be me and sent me the winnings. I want Night Lord stuff lol
