im thinking about getting this game it looks good but i think it needs people you know to be more fun anyone got/getting it?

I have not bought it due to concerns over the DLC and lack of people to play with, so I am also interested in how many GWRSy people have it

Last I heard there was controversy of Preorder2Win with exclusive classes.

You're right JC, there were one or two mega powerful monsters only available (for now) through pre-order

It's becoming more and more common. The crowdfunding revolution proved that gamers will pay lots for exclusive content before the game is even completed. *flails in the direction of Star Citizen*

The AngryJoe review for Evolve was pretty damning.

MP is ok, but unless you have a full team of people to play with 1 bad player on the Hunter team basically sacrifices the rest of you.

There is less of a campaign then Titanfall, and loads of DLC to pay for, even if you get the limited editions.

The campaign for Titanfall was pretty much non-existent... I find that hard to beat.

 

Is it bad if I want to see Evolve's campaign just to see how bad it is?

Titanfall's campaign as well isn't really a campaign either. I think Evolve deserves a medal if it found a way to be worse than Titanfall's campaign...

yea I had Titanfall as well, the campaign was a joke.

His other comment about Evolve is it's like a running sim.

Sorry if it seems I am putting the game down, just I saw this review as Joe is pretty fair, and thought I should say something.

I'm giving the game a skip, doesn't look to have enough content to justify both the box and DLC cost

Well Joe's comment about Evolve was pretty much that it is equal to a good free game in terms of content. Giving it a 5/10. Also Joe seemed to be quite annoyed about AAA titles having micropayments.

Gotta say I agree, if you pay top dollar for a game, but get the watered down version unless you pay for content it's wrong, but becoming common practise.

Take Destiny sod all content, all extras on DLC, and to add insult to injury they locked people from original content when the first DLC hit.

I think that was the main and only real reason I bought Destiny's Dark Below DLC and that was because I wanted to do the Nightfall Strike and I couldn't unless I had the DLC because it was Omnigul's strike.

 

DLC Exotics aren't that great to be honest as No Land Beyond, Dragon's Breath all were pretty shit. Although I've noticed Iron Banner looks almost like you need the DLC to play it no idea if you do or not though...

IB you need to be 32 really.

tbh I cant get on with Destinys Pvp for whatever reason, so I avoid it.
