I usually avoid Destiny all together. I might get an itch to play it but still that is a rarity.

PvP I used to be pretty good at but now I play like shit. No idea why, perhaps more shotgun *CENSORED* appeared...

Shotguns got buffed in the latest patch! tbh I have been forced into the Crucible to complete some Exotic bounties, I got Thorn and Bad Juju.

I am getting better, just no idea why I struggled with Destiny as much as I have Pvp wise.

But yea Crucible is now a Shotgunfest, had a Hunter trying to corner camp the other day, gave the corner a wide berth a threw a knife is his face, after several times some nice love messages ensued from him, so I must've done something right!

I did something like 5 crucible matches and decided no more. Too much like COD too little like Halo

Issue I have is I want some gear from a certain faction as its all intellect and discipline, I can wear the class item and get the rep to level that faction, but the currency is all crucible marks.

The vanguard stuff just blows, I would raid but just don't have the free time.

I sold Destiny because it wasn't worth my time, I enjoyed Warframe more but rarely play it.

I might play Destiny again at some point but I will probably look into it more when the next DLC comes out then reach max rank again, become bored with it and leave it alone. It will need a lot more to do since next DLC if its like the last adds in a raid, strike and five missions. After completing five missions you don't really want to do them again and the strike you'll only redo if its Nightfall/Heroic and the Raid people will only do until they have armour weapons/armour until they reach max rank again.

I've been waiting for the next Queen's event to happen since the first ended and they only add an Iron Banner even every couple of months. I will admit I've spent more than enough time on Destiny to consider it a good game but my problem is its the most expensive game ever created or one of the most expensive games where as games with budgets fractions of what Destiny had have made even better games.

The budget and the end result don't make sense, I like Destiny, but it should've been so much better.

That and colonial marines are the games I have been most disappointed with.

Well wasn't Destiny promoted as so much more? Isn't it just a victim of hyping?

I don't know I decided the day before its release to get it and got people bitching at me the day before its release for asking what's so good about Destiny as people for some reason are as hard as rock...

Destiny fired a bunch of important people while in development (inc the story guy) and over hyped their game. They have a solid game engine, so lets hope Destiny 2 delivers a deep game

That's how they are wording it now Cru, Destiny is like the starter before the main course, bloody expensive starter.

Also all it's doing is using gamers as cash cows, which pisses me off as everyone's cash is getting stretched, we don't need these greedy tossers adding to the mix by releasing 1/2 a game and charging us more for the full thing.

There is a very large Destiny release due later this year called Comet, I bet it's like £40 though.

Most AAA's are overhyped turd at the moment, Evolve is meant to be meh, The Order 1886 is meant to be very disappointing, all QTE Boss fights and horrible AI.

I still say a great model for a game and DLC well done are the Mass Effects, and Skyrim, great value for money there.

If Comet is DLC is might piss off the people who bought the season pass as usually when you buy that you assume you're given all the DLC not be told sorry but your season pass doesn't cover this DLC... unless its just everything the Playstation players always had... In that case I imagine it will be free and make everyone just go Meh... Doesn't warrant people returning to play for a couple of strikes and a couple of new exotics.

The campaign for Titanfall was pretty much non-existent... I find that hard to beat.

Is it bad if I want to see Evolve's campaign just to see how bad it is?

To be fair the people who made Evolve also helped develop Left for Dead. They have a thing for streamlined multiplayer games with more emphasis on gameplay than story.

But story is a necessity for people to sink their teeth into games. If Fallout, Warhammer, Dark Souls, Dragon Age and even Call of Duty have a story which is used to grasp people in rather than go here kill this now kill that or just run and run and run...

Left 4 Dead did have a storyline with the characters you could control with an enjoyable campaign/campaigns where you'd learn bits and bobs while playing giving the player fluff to sink their teeth in.

Evolve from what everyone is saying is there is almost no storyline such as no explanation for where the Monsters came from, the ending was just terrible and the multiplayer is very repetitive ending in either the Monster dying in a minute or two or the Monster evolves into higher tiers and kills the Hunters.

Needless to say almost all next gen games have been rather disappointing.

Besides occasional banter I don't recall much of an arching nerative in either Left 4 Dead 1 or 2. Unless you mean the transition through the campaign (getting from point A-B).

Evolve might have a vague story but maybe they're approaching the story from a different angle. Not so much in a direct sense as reading a story, but picking up the pieces.

They don't tell you about the monster because it's not some movie star. It's an apex predator in its habitat trying to take out invaders. Instead of this dynamic story arc, it's the hunters and the monster living out their life.

I haven't played more than a match, plus I'm rambling but the gist of what Im saying would be story < immersion. At least in this game.

And a lot of the games coming out have been rather meh. That coupled with all the remasterings.

Well remastered versions aren't too bad. I'd love to have Fallout 3 and New Vegas possibly 1 and 2 remastered put onto Xbox One just so I don't need to change console whenever I want to play one of those games since Xbox One has no real good RPG games.

I personally prefer a storyline over the gameplay but that depends at times if the gameplay is tolerable. If it was so bad you'd only be able to play an hour or so before getting so pissed off with gameplay I'd pretty much rage quit it then I'd say no it isn't a good game but lots of games have been made up because they have a great story.

Probably my need just to know everything though as if you're hunting Monster you usually have to know about the Monsters to know about them to properly kill them. This me probably just being annoying at not knowing =/

Remastered games aren't awful I just feel like that's half of the games you hear about (I could be over dramatic). I would have to agree about story > gameplay, but let me bring to light a game where the gameplay mechanics were so terrible I had to force myself to die through the game to finish the story... Kane & Lynche : Deadmen.

XB1 is getting Neverwinter (DnD MMORPG), ESO (good up until you finish your faction quests the first time) and Final Fantasy 15 (RPG but has optional co-op mode). Up until now a lack of decent RPGs (Dragon Age Inquisition is mediocre) has been a major issue for Xbox One but there's quite a few this year

Thank fucking Thor for that!

Final Fantasy I've never really been interested by, never heard of Neverwinter might take a look at it and ESO all I've heard is negative things about it.

I think there was a lot of recent news about a new Fallout game though. Could have just been rumours though.

ESO is good up until the point where it slams your nose into the grind stone and screams "LOVE ME!". It forces you to either grind mobs, or complete the other factions quests in a scaled up instanced version of the other factions maps. Since it's going F2P it's worth looking into if you have a few friends to play with.

I skipped Neverwinter on PC because it felt like it was made for a console, very action orientated (cone or area-aimed abilities rather than targeted abilities like WoW and KoToR). With it on Xbox that problem is eliminated, though I'm probably doomed to playing it on PC with my MMO guild.

Someone registered and put up a Fallout 4 website, they were not affiliated with Bethesda. It was an elaborate troll. A chunk of Bethesda is stuck supporting ESO for a few years yet, and the other chunk is working on another project they discussed somewhere but the name escapes me. No Fallout 4 or TES-VI on the horizon as of yet.

With Windows 10 being multiplatform (phones, tablets, PCs and Xbox console) we will probably see the likes of Dungeon Hunter come to X1. It's not a bad cyclic series tbh, probably more fun than D3 was. Then we have Mass Effect (4) coming either Q4 or sometime in 2016, which I seriously hope they don't fuck up as catastrophically as Dragon Age 3 (no healer mechanics, core to any traditional RPG, and MMO grind without the MMO part).

If you can play DoW on PC then you should look into Warhammer Quest - it's a turn based DnD like thing for $15/30 on Steam. Then there is Mordheim, which is also supposed to have RPG elements, but it's not out yet.
