Yeah Sabaton is releasing a new album "Heroes" on May 16th. Enjoy the wait... They did release the single of "To Hell and Back"

[spoiler=To Hell and Back Lyrics]

A short man from Texas,

a man of the wild
Thrown into combat,
where bodies lie piled

Fights his emotions,
his blood's running cold,
just like his victories,
his story unfolds

Bright, a white light
If there´d be, any glory in war
Let it rest, on men like him

(Dead men will never come back..)

[Chorus]
Crosses grow on Anzio,
where no soldiers sleep and the hell's six feet deep
The death must wait, there's no debate
So charge and attack, going to hell and back!

A man of the 15th, a man of can-do,
friends fall around him, but yet he came through
let them fall face-down, if they must die,
making it easier to say goodbye

Bright, a white light
If there´d be, any glory in war
Let it rest, on men like him

Who went to hell and came back!

[Chorus]
Crosses grow on Anzio,
where no soldiers sleep and the hell's six feet deep
The death must wait, there's no debate
So charge and attack, going to hell and back!

Oh, gather 'round me,
and listen while I speak,
of a war, where hell is six feet deep,
and now that I'm off the shore, where cannons still roar,
they're haunting my dreams, they're still there when I sleep!

[Chorus]
He saw crosses grow on Anzio,
where no soldiers sleep and where hell's six feet deep
The death must wait, there's no debate
He charged and attacked, he went to hell and back!

Mere words cannot describe the exhilarated anticipation for the new album and tour, and the deepest disappointment that they will not take their tour to the North of Sweden.

But here is an attempt to describe the previously mentioned feeling:

Nope. Couldn't describe it.

It was a valiant attempt to describe it =P

I'm quite looking forward to the new album. There will probably be some cover songs or/and bonus songs coming out with certain versions of the Album =)

Hmmm. I've never heard of this group before, but the music was exhilarating. Off to Youtube i go to watch everything they've ever made.

Well this song I would say is different but still a good one.

Personal favourites of Sabaton are:

Ghost Division which is  about Rommel's Panzer division in France.

Back in Control which is about British forces retaking the Falklands from the invading Argentines.

Wolfpack which is about a U-boat wolfpack in the battle for the Atlantic.

White Death which is about a Finnish sniper who fought against the Russians and has tallied the most amount of kills for snipers. Killed over 500 Russians, had counter snipers after him all the time and Soviet artillery although he did eventually get shot in the jaw but survived and lived till about 96...

Also Birds of War as its a 40K tribute to Raptors. For some reason all of the Youtube videos think its about pilots from WWI and WWII. Makes little sense as the Lyrics completely oppose that "We bring agony and insanity, once blessed by the light now serving the night and soon cursed by every man on earth. We follow our lust in no god we trust."

I'm sure other people have their own favourites as well.

I just realised that "Far From The Fame" has been on Youtube for over a year....

[spoiler=Far From The Fame Lyrics]

As the great war is over and lost
He's been wounded in war, he returns with awards
Into battle again far from home
From a far distant land, our Marshal command

Home
Siblings sent to their death
His wife paid the ultimate price
Still
As the war rages on
You are our guide

Far, far from the fame
Far, far away from the fame
But we still remember your name
Karel Janoušek!
We mourn the day that you died
So be our guide, Czechoslovakia's pride

When the war has been fought and been won
Our Marshal returns, to be thrown into jail
Facing torture and years behind bars
When he's finally back, life in ivory black

Home
Siblings sent to their death
His wife paid the ultimate price
Still
As the war rages on
You are our guide

Far, far from the fame
Far, far away from the fame
But we still remember your name
Karel Janoušek!
We mourn the day that you died
So be our guide, Czechoslovakia's pride

Far, far from the fame
Far, far away from the fame
But we still remember your name
Karel Janoušek!
We mourn the day that you died
So be our guide, Czechoslovakia's pride

Far, far from the fame
Far, far away from the fame
But we still remember your name
Karel Janoušek!
We mourn the day that you died
So be our guide, Czechoslovakia's pride
