Well Ladies and Gentlemen, Gamerettes and Not-So-Gentle-Men, it's the end of the year. Actually, it's the end of our planets orbit around our star, which in it's own isn't very much to celebrate. But let's not be like that, shall we?

 

So how are you going to celebrate the fact that humanity hasn't managed to exterminate itself or destroy the planet completely the last 12 months?

Yeah, I know I sound a bit bitter, but I actually like new years ever. It's a wonderful tradition that complements Christmas with wonderful food, a bit of alcohol, good company and EXPLOSIONS! I mean fireworks.. *hrm* Yeah, fireworks...

 

Actually, we're not having any fireworks this year. Can't afford them.. I offered to whip up some Hindenburg-Bombs, a receipt I picked up from the Anarchist Cookbook about a decade ago, but Catty refused. So no boom for me...

 

This is how I'll celebrate:

 

 

A (hopefully) good Irish whiskey, and a fine cigar. In short; life's finest. Granted, my body and stomach might not need it, but I sure as hell do..

And, if I play my cards right and give her enough red wine, I'll also celebrate together with a very "happy" Catty! 

 

 

So lets hear it, what are your plans?

I read a book until Midnight, updated Facebook (so much easier than texting everyone who is on FB anyway) and went to bed. It's been a rather uneventful holiday season for me but I have got lots of gaming done

Laughing at Seitokai Yakuindomo (thank you Opeth!) and unboxing £900 of computer parts as they arrive.

My Cooler Master case is fucking huge... Bigger than my 28' monitor, maybe by like 6'...

Well I was meant to celebrate it at a friends but I fucked up my sleeping pattern so I slept mostly through it.

yeah thats true, im not sure what the future will hold but i like where its going at the moment, her birthday is coming up in 20 days so im gonna try and get a nice birthday card and something and send it to her college mailbox
