So, I can't help but notice that the emo celestials (Dark Angels) haven't started their faction yet. Now I don't know if this is because Romanomnomnom hasn't gotten his thumb out of the famous hole, or because of some other reason.

But if it's the first reason, an amusing thought hit me.. Could I assemble a few people just to found the Dark Angles faction? So when Romnom get's his backside in here, I will have taken his beloved chapter from him?

 

Don't get me wrong, I have no interest in running, or even being part of, a chapter, least of all the Dark Angels (nothing against them, just don't like the 40k chapter).

I just want to be a nail in the eye... 

 

And it would be amusing to see how many Asian Wifes he would offer up to reclaim his chapter...

 

 

Now I can't be the only one who finds this thought amusing..? Right?

The answer would normally be yes, all the names are up for grabs; someone could make a second Raven Guard chapter if they wanted. However, because of the migration the 1.0 names are reserved until the end of January - after all, some people will be on holiday etc

 

Just for clarification: The code doesn't allow duplicates, so if a name is taken you have to alter it and Staff won't allow names spoofed to look like existing names (special characters etc). Duplicate names must be distinctly different, and if the existing chapter is inactive they loose the right to the name (Staff can rename groups) - we won't have people camping on names, especially with EC coming.

They can't you already have the name. They could call themselves 'Raven Guard 1st Company' if they wanted, but they can not be 'The Raven Guard' while you exist actively on the site.
