Admittedly Halo is the one game that NEARLY made me buy a 360, that and Rooster Teeth. Just dont want to pay the subscription fees.

Halo series has so far been awesome, but I genuinely find Space Marine to be a better multiplayer game, perhaps because I was already a 40k fan before a played a Halo game. Also highly recommend the Halo books if you like BL stories.

Halo MP suffers from COD Syndrome. They keep gearing it towards a specific type of competitive MP, unfortunately they are custom making the H4 maps for competitive play.

It's fun sometimes, but SM is just geared for violent killing and that is fun but also fluffy!

The only thing COD-ish that Halo suffers from is that it sometimes pits you against players that are many ranks above you, imo. Or rather, in my experience.

I think Halo's gameplay is much better because it puts you in the helmet of your soldier, instead of looking over his shoulder and has greater three dimentional play. Both views have pros and cons.

Fun fact: Halo Combat Evolved was actually supposed to be third-person, but due to grphics compilcations they put it in first-person.

Halo's multiplayer has worlds of strategy packed into it. Sadly, I'm still trying to convince my brothers it isn't a pure Run n' Gun. I'm not saying Space Marine doesn't have strategy, but Halo has far more experience being a shooter game than the 40K universe.

343 is Bungie. It is made up of the staff from Bungie that made Reach. The "Bungie" that left MS were the core development team that made Halo 1. I wouldn't expect a major drop in quality. However I hope they don't fuck up bigstyle again, Anniversary Edition co-op is unplayable Live because they fucked it up

Yeah they haven't publicly acknowledged it's broken yet because it works sometimes. They put it down to connection issues which is BS considering we had 2 x360's on the same connection so it was just authenticating on live then running LAN

I have been playing it split-screen so much recently (all my PS3 mates wanted to play) so I am sick to death of it. Perhaps after H4 is released my nostalgia will overwhelm my apathy once again!

I have been a HALO campaign fan since the beginning but didn't enjoy MP till Reach. My thing is Reach was supposed to be the last one so what is the reason for making HALO 4? Sadly it looks like HALO is going to become CoD with a new game every year or two.

I hope not. I've played every Halo game, bought and read all the books, and even bought the anime. If they turn it into *CENSORED* of Doody (immature, I know) I will hunt them down like the dogs they are.

I've been a Halo fan for years now. Started out with the Gamespy Arcade Demo. Played Silent Cartographer oodles of times. The books? Brilliant. They make the games seem like complete crap. For those who haven't read the books I truly feel that you've missed out. If you have read them then you know exactly what I'm talking about. If any of you have read Primorium - did you feel as thrilled as I was about finding the truth behind 343 Guilty Spark?

Anyhow, I don't think 343 will mess up Halo 4. The fact that they're getting back in line with John (Master Chief) is a sigh of relief. Playing as a Spartan III and an ODST was neat and all, and God knows I loved Fire-Fight, but it's time to get back in the head of a Spartan II. I can't wait to see what they do with the game, especially if Chief has the battle physics that were displayed in Reach. Can you imagine the brutality of his assassinations?

Now the only other thing I'm looking for - What happened to the Didact?
