Basically for a one off donation of 10 Euros you can stream your music over the internet or local WiFi to PC's, Roku Boxes and Smartphones

There are apps for every major smartOS. Most of you won't have 64GB capacity smart phones, so this is a nice way to listen to all of your music on your phone.

I use it to stream my entire collection (gapless playback too joy!) over my home WiFi. I could stream over the internet and cell network, but in NZ that would be too expensive. In the US you wouldn't have that restriction though.

I know there are services which stream music, like Pandora, but you have to use internet for those. This can be streamed over local network. For those of you at a Hall of Residence who's internet network is LANed with the rest of the campus you can stream your music over LAN from anywhere on campus for free, as long as you know your local LAN IP address.
