Has anyone else noticed that the game seems to have regressed, as it's been almost unplayable for me the last 2 days....
..God I Hope this patch works....

Yeah, they tried fixing something and borked a bunch of other things. Coop, Shadowwar and Special Missions (time trial etc) are all buggered.
The shotgun rampage is the worst, you get 3 rounds and get another round when you kill someone. However with this lag/glitch/whatever it's reading ammo empty when reloading because the new shells are not spawing in fast enough, so I'm doing amazing and then it cold turkeys with out-of-ammo clause

so basically if the next patch doesn't fix much than defiance is a failure?

Doesn't quite work that way with MMOs mate. If they fix half the bugs in the next patch then it's a relative success. MMOs patch regularly, as opposed to hardly ever like console games

They put to much money into it not to patch fix it regularly. Its all about the profits and MMO's are recurring profits.
