I've had this discussion for about 2 days. Their main argument is that flood would empower all, and take over Terra. I strictly refused as the defence is too damn good, and then I threw viral bombs and such into the mix.

But I want to know what you think, Who would win? Personally I'm on the 40k side. But if you are taking part in this, please use something which you can back up and is fact.

But it's a good, and interesting discussion.

Not saying anyone would win, the tyranids are flood-like and the imperium has held out well enough.....not to mention the plague marines and horrors of nurgle. In ways, warhammer already has flood like things and many different forms. Just the nature of warhammer would allow them to survive.

The Flood is there way to say 40k would lose?

Necrons cannot be made into flood things because they are deathless... And their machines... The Necrons are also vastly superior to many races in 40k so anything thrown at them will be shot down.

When a full Necron force is unleashed not much can stand against them. The Halo universe doesn't really have any Grimdark stuff like 40k does.

Space Marines make any spartan look like a Kasrkin commando. So Space Marines are used to dealing with countless aliens and Chaos threats so the Flood wouldn't be much of a problem since the imperium for one doesn't care about planets so EXTERMINATUS is something they would use.

Chaos would be able to defeat them as Plauge Marines are already infected so many diseases and have such thick armour for the Halo universe to break through their armour is almost impossible.

The most powerful ground units the Halo universe has to offer wouldn't be more than an annoyance to a Titan of Chaos, The Imperium or any other race Titan.

The Daemon Princes would be destroyers of anything. The only way to stop Angron was to use psychic powers which make little sense... The Halo universe doesn't have psykers and nothing could stand up to a Daemon Prince of Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle or Tzeentch.

I would like to see a flood infected Tech Priest or somehow a Plague Marine as it would look so fucked up!

I like both universes but the answer is clear. It is like putting Guardsmen against Khorne Bezerkers in close combat.

Point proven, sorry. This was just an ongoing debate. We didn't begin to add the Halo rings into the mix.

Well lot of this depends on where it is. Is the Warp able to power up stuff. What Imperium is it (pre/post heresy).

Too many questions to answer but on a whole I would say the 40k is just too advanced for the UNSC

40k all the way. Tink about about it. How many spartans would it take to kill a space marine ?
A whole chapter would seriuosly screw the halo universe alone let alone all the chaos eldar dark eldar chaos orks trynaids n the other races.
Its no competition.

The 40k universe would win because, You can't completely eliminate chaos, there are more fucking gaurdsmen than there are people in halo period. Nids are uneffected by Flood, and besides, every fucking marine in that game (especially salamanders) have fucking flamers, People don't live long when they are on fire. Than you for your time

People also never seen to realise the Imperium has a fleet that would ROFLSTOMP its own armies, let alone Halo's. It's relatively more powerful. Halo stuff wouldn't even breach orbital defences.

I dont think its a fair fight at all The 40k universe is so much bigger compared to the halo universe thousands and thousands of planets more in the 40k universe not to mention the warp and everything everyone has allready mentioned in my oppinion its not even worth the discussion

Your right deamon, in my veiw really all the spartans are basically is scouts of the astartes who dont have ther black carapace yet, this argument is mostly between people who have seen space marine the game and compare it to a spartan

I reckon the Flood will become part of the Tyranids, or if grand pappy plague can pull it off daemons of Nurgle.
