Alright so im planning on getting a ps3 for multiple reasons the main being Dust 415, i have two choices get a used one or get a new one now im short on money so it would take me a long while to get a new one but a used one i could get very fast, so i want to here your opinions on what you guys thing i should do.

If you can get a used one from a respected retailer with a used PS3 warrenty (6-12 months) then do that. PS3's have overheating issues (YLOD), especially so on older models.

Do NOT get one older than the PS3 Slim which came in 120 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB or 320 GB sizes. The new Super Slim is obviously better, but at a price.

I personally always buy things used because they are still operable and ive never had an issue with it

I agree with Crucias & Spider here, just be sure to use reputable dealers and shop around as a few times I've seen a used machine, ran out to the second hand store all gleeful and cheery only to find its a dud and the store had a no returns policy ... I was young then but I learnt a valuble lesson in the unscrupulousness of some traders lol

If your only buying it for Dust then you should get it as cheap as possible, unless you have long term plans for it.

Thanks guy and i plan on getting it for dust and the other major games that are only on ps2 like resistance
and there was a game called Lair that came out a couple years ago that i want to play too.
