[Prosperan Son]

" And what if I told you, that your chance to claim the power needed to remove the Talon Lord was within your grasp?" Those were the words that had secured his position in the War. He came with an offer for power, an offer for knowledge, and like any true follower of Tzeentch, Tzank had accepted it.

Now he found himself on a Chaos Frigate Ship, en-route towards a world that was supposed to dead, and yet now there was life. What could lie there?


Tzank is within his chambers, in the process of meditating, beseeching his patron for guidance.

I found it hard to meditate after what had happened, every time I tried to contact my lord thoughts of power, thoughts of death, thoughts... Of the talon lord would come flooding through. I'm finding that at the moment after some training earlier that feeding on my anger makes me stronger.

It was impossible to meditate with my current mindset and so I went to the bridge and sat in the captains chair and looked into the vast mystery of space

"M' lord!" Called one of the deck officers, a rather small figure with pale skin and dirty clothing named Brun." We are nearing the planet! The Void ahead seems clear and there's nothing on our scanners"! He informed, the view of the planet before them becoming clearer and clearer. Paseana's Curse, a dead world.

He looked onto the planet with great interest, this was the start of his power gain, knowledge is power and through power comes victory.

He responded to the deck officer"Good stay your course."

He looked to a scrawny and pale human in the corner "You over there can you give some more information about the planet, slave"

The slave raised his head, surprised at being acknowledged. Pulling up what data he could, the slave shook his head." We were only able to pull up a limited number of data M'lord. All we know is that the world is called Paseana's Curse and she's a husk." He answered, a bit grimaced by the name.

"Thats it, well your a waste of space." i pull my plasma pistol and in one fluent movement shoot one shot at the slave melting his head into the ships frame work with his lifeless hands still holding the report that was clearly a waste of time and meant that i could find out that so was he. "well its time to fill in the records so that the time a slave reads the file out we will have some information. Set the ship down on the planet in the largest clearing you can find, also prepare any and all night lords for disembarking, i want all the man power i have left for exploring the surface."after orders where given i slumped back into my command chair for the decent onto the lifeless husk of paseana.

"Preparations are already underway M'lord." One of the other attendants spoke up, doing his best to ignore the dead heap that had been his comrade only seconds before. Life under the legions were hard, but a death should have been common happenstance by now.

"Right if all preparations are done ill be off to join the ground force give my men a bit of inspiration. Woooo this'll be fun." I turn just as I leave the door and fire a plasma shot straight at the floor next to the previously talking attendant and turn to face him "you thought me killing the other guy was scary, get rid of your fear for next time I sense it, your head will be melting into the control panels of the ship. Hahahah..." I continue laughing as I proceed down the hallway to join my troops.

As he moved towards the flight deck, the ship itself began to shudder and shake,a dull thumb reverberating through out the hull of the ship. You dismiss as a mere technical failure, but that excuse is quickly dismissed as another thump, louder than the last one causes the ship to lurch, sending you falling to the floor.
"Under Fire! Under Fire! To Battle Stations!" One of the command crew's voice rings out through the alarms. Everything becomes frantic now as crewman, slaves, arms men and astartes rush to their positions.

"Oh for god sake, do I get no peace" picking myself up I turn back and run for the bridge " officer status report, NOW!"

A panel of circuitry burst right next to the Sorcercer, the impact sending him flying into the wall. The power armor saved him from any real damage. An officer turned to him, unwilling to go near the possibly enraged marine."We've been hit from the planet side my lord! Critical damage right between the engine and maintenance levels! It sheared right through our shields!"

"FOR GODS SAKE. Land this ship now, get all vehicles ready, get all the men ready, I want everyone ready for fighting. Also fire all weapons at the target that fired upon us, I want them for scrap hahahaha." He looks at the officer standing there in silence "GO, NOW." He sees a passing slave points his plasma pistol and melts the unarmed creature burning him into the nearest wall, and as the officer begins to run ahead to get the men ready he says to himself "that felt better." And follows the path the officer went.

"We don't have a lock on where it came from and power is failing at an increasing rate!" The officer replied in a rush, tapping furiously at his console. He was about to mutter something when another explosion ripped through the side of the ship, near the hanger, causing further mayhem.

A crewman looked up from his console, face bloody from smashing into it and mumbled "WE'RE GOING DOWN! " He yelled at the top of his lungs, the ship lurching painfully as it slowly began to descend towards the planet at an increasing rate.

I then contact the flight deck "Do we have any thunderhawk's remaining officer." I stumble as the ship continues to lurch downwards, the creaking of the ship became very unsteadying. I decide that while I wait for my officers reply i decide that I have to save as many soldiers as possible so I give the ship wide order to evacuate "all soldiers abandon ship, get to escape pods or any nearby ship. If there is any chance to save the tanks then do it, that is all."

"Setting Designated Coordinates for landing right now." One of the command officers stated, typing in the command and sending it along the length of the ship's crew. Men, Soldiers, Slaves and Astartes scrambled to the vessels, taking as much with them as they could. It was a panic.

I contact the command officer "is there any way we can save any of the tanks officer we'll need them to survive this ground fight I can assure you." While talking I carry on running down the ship towards the docking bay now the only way for us to survive.

The line was dead, a series of explosions blossomed across the hull of the ship as it descended down towards the atmosphere. The hull and floors shook as the ship violently made it's entrance .

"oh great" i thought to myself as the creaking and transcended into the sound of explosions across the ship "well i ordered the tanks to be ready to be taken to the ground, so maybe they are ready for transport" another shook me of balance and i only stayed stable by using the already buckled bulkhead next to me " well here's hoping" i carried on my mad charge to the docking bay to make my escape.

The last of the thunder hawks was preparing to depart, the massive transports ramparts remaining opening for the Chaos Lord's arrival.
