Hey guys, just trying to guage intrest here. I have been working on this competition for a little while now, and have even playtested parts with the wolves and others. Basically I have primarly played the role of the Marine Scout sniper in competitive play since my first chapter battle, as I know a few others of you have as well. So I have come up with a competition to test my craft against my fellow scouts.
Before I get into the details, let me clarify what I mean when I say "scout".
Space marine scouts are the first to go in, behind the lines relaying data to their commanders, taking out key targets and deploying homing beacons for the rest of the chapter, all while hopefully remaining undetected. They have not battle plate as they have not received the black carapace yet, and wear only the chopped down scout armour for mobility and stealth sake.

The game settings would include the following:

1/4 armour and no regen. (now your wearing scout armour)
stalkers, and regular bolters only, with pistols and knives also allowed.
no frag grenades, only blinds and stimms

1v1 arena rules apply.

in addition to the 1v1 there is a "skills" competition that will judge accuracy and speed at short med, and long ranges, with a snap descision moving target to hit at the end. this will be scored on a points basis and combined with the 1v1 results to give us a tiered ranking system....

I am only going into broad details here as I said I'm looking to see if there is interest.

I also have one worked out for devs, and even a terminator set up going into planning.
