hey guys, recently started collecting. I'm looking to buy some Tau, paint condition doesn't really matter, if anyone has any free Tau I'd pay for postage. Please guys.
Note; I live in the UK, but I will pay any import tax and such.

guys where can i learn about tau? i know absolutely nothing about them excep they were in fire warrior

Tau are a technologically advanced race which have done what the imperium did in about 2000 years and they fight for the greater good of all not personal gain

Sam get rail guns there is nothing better than killing your opponents land raider first turn

Ill write up what I currently have...
-24 Tau fire-warriors (with about 2 Sergeants and a mixture of pulse carbines and pulse rifles)
-1 commander battlesuit (with loads of shizzle. Cyclic ion blaster ECT)
-Crisis Battlesuit V8 with burstcannon, Targeting array, missile pods
-hammerhead gunship
-skyray gunship
-Ethereal
And a broadside... Somewhere.....
 
Also I have 4 shield drones and 4 gun drones.

Only take the ethereal for his honour guard 10 fire warriors with BS 4 and fearless for +pts totally worth it

I'm not sure if I should buy kroot though, they are a waste of money, but I need them to close combat things

If used properbly they are an amazing close combat squad but if you are just getting into the game I suggest you stick to fire warriors in devil fish if especially now that you can shoot the enemy when they charge you. Also if one squad gets caught in combat pull your other squads back to a safe distance then unleash pulse hell

I've already listed what I've got and I literally have NO close combat troops
But I've started collecting again, not new to it
I'll see if I can get any cheap minitures, but it's more expensive now compared to a few years back

The points and money are better spent on more battle suits (in my opinion anyway)

For tau i agree with doomdrinker mate, get fire warriors with pulse rifles, especially as now it is true half range so your rapid firing at fifteen inches, and get some more battle suits, and maybe even a broadside or two, just my humble opinion, having faced them and lost humiliatingly many times to a mates tau army.
