I'd like to inform you that we are now accepting applications for positions on the Moderation Team. We are planning on adding 3-4 new moderators to the team, but if we receive a large number of excellent applications we may choose to add more.
New moderators will start off as Acolytes which is our "Intern / Moderator-In-Training" rank. While they are Acolytes they will be partnered with a member the Senior Moderation Team who will serve as their Mentor. The Mentor will instruct the Acolyte how to properly moderate, and will also be required to give their approval before any moderation action is taken by the Acolyte. Applicants will remain as Acolytes for a period of around 1-2 months or until they have demonstrated that they are ready for advancement.
The application and instructions for how to submit it are located here. Once we have received your application we will discuss it in the Moderation Forums and we will notify you if we have any questions. Once we have made our decision you will be notified via PM.
We will be accepting applications from now until the 21st. Applications submitted after that date are likely to be disqualified. All applications will have an opportunity to be discussed over the following weekend. (The 22nd-23rd) We will then decide and inform those who have been selected on Monday the 24th. Note: Deadlines may be extended but will never be shortened. I will update this thread if the deadline has been extended.
Special Note: Due to conflict of interest issues we currently do not allow Faction Leaders to become members of the Moderation Team. XO's & Officers may be permitted to join if they are given a special exemption from this restriction or if they are willing to step down from their position as a faction officer.
Sincerely,
-Zero,
Lead Moderator

To be just, our law must be cruel.
To stand upon the bedrock of law is our great duty. To presume to stand above it is our worst heresy.
We determine the guilty. We decide the punishment.

Just a pointer, they are not looking for a single successful applicant (unlike the SM-CM). Not all Interns will make it to Full Moderator, so they need a group.
Oi. So you're going to be testing a drove, if possible.
I pitched in. Might as well.
