First note, Do try to keep this thread free of flaming. Second thing, the Vengeance Launcher is an interesting weapon to use, but I find it's quite hard to gauge the distance a charge has flown due to the 2-D lack of depth perception. Do you guys have any tips for all of us VL noobs out there?

Being my prefered weapon all i can say is it took alot of pratice, although using it is not unlike guaging good grenade throws you just have to get that 6th sense about the height of the trajectory, once you get that it comes almost naturally and on reflex, at close range not much of a issue but even now sometimes a couple depth finding shot are needed to hit someome at long range. Once you get better with it though it is a extremely rewarding, versatile, and fun weopan to use. Also usually very angering for the other team.:)

Biggest thing is to use it as much as possible. Your first few times using it are, quite frankly, going to SUCK! The more you use it the more you get a feel for detonation timing, the way they arc, how much spread is on the fusion charges when you fire (I've never fully gotten used to this one, I keep shooting corners), and distance the charges can go.

Eventually you get to the point, like Atomic said, where it becomes second nature to fire and detonate in a rhythm. For me I've gotten to the point where I can lead assault marines (lag willing) and detonate as they fly through where the grenade is arcing. It all comes with time and patience to learn how the gun operates because it certainly doesn't operate like any other Tac weapon.

I find using the Grenade launcher on Halo: Reach helps alot.

Two Giratina are better than one.
