Well as some of you know i collect chaos (8000pts) and i do alot of converting so here's some of them.
P.S. im not the best painter so dont complain.

First of all is one of my favorite conversions.

This took alot of time to do and required green stuff and handy scalpal skill to do note it is in the colours of my space marine army.

Next is my favorate conversion i've done.

This one im realy happy with the arms are from a defiler. (you mad bro)

These are some of my traitor tanks.

The vanquisher is my latest conversion and it came out perfectly i modeled it of a WWII german hertzer and the gun is half the length of the tank. (it is a work in progress as i need green stuff to finish its canopy)

Last but not least (certainly) is the biggest model in my army the shadowsword titan hunter Cradle Of Filth.

Written on the side is NURGLE CARES.

I guess I appreciate the amount of work you put into it. But I cant help but cringe at nearly all of these.

The conversions are amazing, no doubt about it, its just that the painting looks a little less impressive. I can give you some eavy metal style painting techniques if your interested.

If you wanna do detail NEVER batch paint.

Advice for silver:
Boltgun metal base (or what ever the equivalent is now) (painted over black)
Nuln Oil wash
Mythril Silver highlight
This is a fairly simple technique but with good results.

The main issue we're seeing here is a lack of definition. A lot of the models are just flat colors, which detracts from the sculpted details.

Try using some washes, they'll greatly improve your work with little to no effort.

I honestly thought they were all pewter initially by the paint job dude. I'd definitely take JC up on his offer...he does really good work

How to paint Gold:
(Look at pics of my Sanguinary Guard as an example)

•A base coat of Khemri Brown foundation
•A full layer of Dwarven Bronze
•A full layer of Shining Gold (you may need 2 coats of this)
•Paint Tin Bitz into the recesses, such as edges in shoulder pads or gaps that are in between gold carvings (such as the imperial eagles wings)
•A complete wash of Gryphon Sypea slightly watered down, this has to cover all surfaces evenly of possible
•The a highlight of Mythril Silver, notice on my Sanguinary Guard how its highlighted mostly one sided, as if the light source is coming from a primary direction, this is the most important part.
