well you see the death star is like a mini starbase and their stupid lazer guns are nothing compared to a phaser

just taking next gen into account is like just watching the prequels to star wars, honestly you can not form an opinion unless you have watched all of it

Edit: 2 photon torpedos will destroy a planet, the enterprise if 10x bigger than an imperial star destroyer

Edit Edit: Plus imperial star destroyers only have deflector shields which would deflect a phaser, not stop an explosion

Edit Edit Edit: the enterprise is an excelsior class starship, its shields would hold up to 1 and possibly two blasts from the death star

Spider I just want you to know that that the trubo batteries on a star destroyer there are 3 on eatch side with two barrels and just one barrel is the size of the enterprise's engine. Now of you look at it take about 3 maybe 5 star destroyers to take out a planet? But the death stars cannon is about half the size of the super destroyer and almost the width of a normal star destroyer so now let put two and two together here... An also there torpedoes Luke could guide his down a tiny tube with the force and vader can block lazers with his hand.... So what's stoping vader from using the force to knock those away?
