Anyone here among our brothers rather decent artists? Not only am I looking to commission someone to do some character art for me for a few books I'm working on, but I want some basic work done - A : for my BA, and B : For a personal picture.

Anyone interested?

I don't know if you can tell, these though were idea's/startups for some tattoos for some of the guys on my boat when I was in. IF I COULD FIND MY GOD DAMN DRAWING SKETCHBOOK, I'd scan them, but right now with me having moved in recently its in one of like 900000 boxes still.

That last one seems to have a very good field of depth to it.

I have a picture I took a while back that I want characterized. Who wants to take up a small contest for a small amount of monies?

1 : I want a blood angel done. Very dark, vivid, and detailed. I want the armor to appear battle damaged of course, but something special with it. Where there is battle damage - wounds in the armor - they are not repaired. Swaths of black, in chunks or in stripes, and laid over the damage as homage to the damage as if scars. I would enjoy the helmet to be damaged at the bottom and broken away - think a very hard impact to the mouth area knocking away the chin and breather. Exposed is a vicious smile and a bit'o blood. Not dead on from the front, some creative point of view would be enjoyed.

For reference - Templar of Blood. So you can be creative with the color details as far as the shades of red used as, from what I can tell, there's really not that much information on them.

2 : I have a picture of myself after some serious chemical work and my duskmask got a little...colored. Uh. Anyway, I think if it were drawn out in a more animated style that it'd be a pretty interesting picture.

Hahah. No no, as this will reflect my Marine, I would rather it be serious. Not overbearing like "On a mountain of bodies!" or anything, but perhaps after just having survived a dreadful battle. Dust, debris, fresh wounds, things of that nature.

Haa~ Going to have to look into that if this pans out because a major character in one of my novels is, of course, female. Very influential and must be exact. I'm picky about my character art.

Just do it Japaneese style, make them look the same and differentiate with boobs and stance.
