I've looked, but couldn't find a thread about this anywhere on the forum, so I thought I'd post this here. If someone could point me to a thread already explaining this, that would be extremely helpful.
Anyway...
We all know of Librarians, Apothecaries and Techmarines, but what exactly are their roles within the chapters? Do they stay the same, or do the Dark Angels find a different use for Techmarines than, say, the Ultramarines?

They stay relatively the same throughout the chapters, but the role they play depends on the chapter master. If you have a micromanaging all controlling chapter master then they will be nothing but figureheads and feel-good titles, vice versa if you have a chapter-master that wants to do nothing then they will do everything, and perfect is a happy medium where everyone shares the power
EDIT: Power meaning that they have the right to reorganize and control what the chapter does and how they do it

Authrix - find the Dark Angel threads in the loyalist section of the forums.
All will be covered in their respective threads within the rock. other wise PM myself for chaplain roles - Semper Victus for Libarians and Dern For the Apothocaries and tech marines
