After thorough testing; Blood Bone, GunShy and I have found that rumors pertaining to the increased efficacy of Vengeance shells when using the Master-crafted perk are simply untrue. There is no increase in any abilities of the weapon.

Go areoumd witha VL with combat stims, master crafted, and serrated blade. I have never been killed by an assualt marine since. But I cant aim a VL to save my life

I can't aim a VL either. The only time I used it,without cussing and getting mad is on the campaign. I even got an achievement for it.

Yeah we tested it yesterday with Brother Wolf and Brother Gun, because I keep hearing about Master Crafter helps the VL. But nothing is enhanced. The damage is the same and so is the radius. I wanted to clear that rumor up because I do notice people have master crafter when using the VL and I think it is because they think they are stronger. But now you all know the truth.

I like using the Vengeance Launcher, takes a bit of training but its all worth it when you can blast flyers out ther air and reach around corners. I never heard about the mastercrafted thing before until this thread. I usually switch between teleporter and mastercrafted frag or blind grenades. A tip about vengeance: learn to play with your fingers on the bumper and trigger at the same time and don't be afraid to blow yourself up.

the only think ive noticed is that when using mastercrafted u can kill enemys about 5 times faster

5 times faster maybe if you use a grenade but not with the Vengence launcher
